The current study is an attempt to investigate the breadth and the depth knowledge of the academic words among Libyan university students. It aims to examine the breadth and the depth knowledge of the academic words and to demonstrate the correlation between them. The outcomes of the current study illustrated that Libyan students had a great size of the academic words. However, although they controlled a reasonable size of the academic words, their worth of vocabulary knowledge of these words was insufficient and the relationship between breadth and depth knowledge was direct and clear. |
