المستخلص: تقوم فكرة هذا البحث على دراسة لغوية لمجموعة من الألفاظ، تم تداولها بين بني البشر، منذ ظهور أول اكتشاف لتلك الجائحة المرضية (كورونا = كوفيد 19 المستجد)، التي انقضت على سائر البشر؛ فأبادت ما يقرب من ستة ملايين، وأصابت ما يقرب من ثلث المليار من البشر، الذين يسكنون كوكب الأرض، ولذا استرعت الانتباه في اشتراك كل دول العالم في استخدام ألفاظ مشتركة بعضها مستحدث، وبعضها الآخر بعث من مرقده. وتتجه تلك الدراسة إلى البحث في أصول تلك الكلمات المستعملة، وبيان جذورها اللغوية، وإلى أي الفصائل اللغوية تنتمي، وتحليل ما يمكن من دلالاتها، وبالأخص في اللغة العربية، مع بيان علة اشتقاقها. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى بيان الصلة بين المصطلحات المستعملة في هذه الجائحة وبين الأصول العربية. وتتناول مادة البحث المسميات التي أطلقت على هذا الوباء، والجهات التي أطلقتها، والعلاقات الدلالية بين التسمية والمدلول، وسبب إطلاق تلك التسميات. ويتكون البحث من مقدمة عن الموضوع، وخاتمة وبينهما استعراض لمصطلحات تلك الجائحة في ثلاثة عناوين: أولا: أسماء (الفيروس). ثانيا: المصطلحات المستعملة في الإصابة والأعراض والوقاية ومتعلقاتهما. ثالثا: مصطلحات اللقاحات وما يتعلق بها. وقد تبين من خلال البحث اشتراك عدد كبير من المؤسسات والأفراد والمنظمات الطبية ووسائل الإعلام في تسمية مصطلحات متعلقة بوباء كرونا ترجع إلى أصول اشتقاقية، كما تبين سرعة انتقال تلك التسميات بين دول العالم المختلفة. وكان من نتائج هذا البحث أن اللغة لها دور في التأثير على اختيار الأسماء، وأن التسمية التي يشيعها وسائل الإعلام غالبا لها الغلبة. كما تبين حاجة كل اللغات إلى اقتراض المسميات فيما بينها، وكأنها لون من التعاون في توحيد التسمية والمقاومة لهذا الوباء، والتعرف على أسراره وأسباب انتشاره.

The idea of this research is based on a linguistic study of a group of words that have been circulated among human beings, since the first discovery of that disease pandemic (Corona = the emerging Covid 19), which swept over all other human beings; It wiped out nearly six million, and infected nearly a third of the billion people who inhabit the planet Earth. That is why it drew attention to the participation of all countries in the world in the use of common words, some of them were new, and others were resurrected from his shrine. This study aims to search for the origins of those words used, to clarify their linguistic roots, to which linguistic groups they belong, and to analyze their possible connotations, especially in the Arabic language, with an explanation of the reason for their derivation. This study aims to show the link between the terms used in this pandemic and the Arabic origins. The research material deals with the names given to this epidemic, the parties that launched it, the semantic relations between the label and the signified, and the reason for issuing those labels. The research consists of an introduction to the topic, and a conclusion, and between them is a review of the terms of that pandemic in three headings: First: the names (virus). Second: The terms used in prevention. Third: Vaccines and related matters. The research revealed the participation of a large number of institutions, individuals, medical organizations and the media in naming terms related to the Corona epidemic that go back to etymological origins, as well as the speed of transmission of those labels between different countries of the world. One of the results of this research was that language has a role in influencing the choice of names, and that the name popularized by the media often prevails. It also shows the need for all languages to borrow names among themselves, as if it were a form of cooperation in unifying the label and resistance to this epidemic, and knowing its secrets and the reasons for its spread.
