تميزت مصر واشتهرت بالشخصيات البارزة والمؤثرة عالميا والتي أثرت بشكل مباشر على المجتمع العالمي في جميع المجالات العلمية والسياسية والاقتصادية والدينية والاجتماعية، ليتركوا ورائهم التراث المكتوب والمقروء والمرئي والمسموع، ولما كان التراث الإسلامي مظهرا من مظاهر الإبداع الفردي والإبداع الجماعي للأمة خلال تاريخها الطويل، كما يعتبر أفضل تعبير عن الهوية الثقافية للأمة وذاتيتها الثقافية وعطاءاتها، وعلى ذلك يهتم ذلك البحث بضبط وتنظيم وأرشفة التراث المرئي والمسموع والمكتوب لتراث أعلام القراء المصريين للقرآن الكريم، وفي هذا السياق فقد أنجبت مصر عددا من القراء الذي تركوا رصيدا وثائقيا ثمينا من الكنوز الصوتية التي سخرها الله لخدمة وتلاوة وتجويد القرآن، ومن الرائع أن يتم وضع خطة تنظيمية لجمع تراثهم الصوتي والبصري والشخصي، وتقديم نموذج تطبيقي لمنصة رقمية لإتاحة ذلك التراث طبقا لمبادئ ومعايير علم الوثائق والأرشيف بصورة متكاملة تحفظ تراثهم الشخصي والصوتي والبصري حفظا أرشيفيا، وتوفر له كل السبل والتقنيات الحديثة لعرضه وإتاحته والاستفادة منه وإيصاله للأجيال الحالية والمستقبلية بصورة متكاملة، وفق خطط تنظيمية واضحة، وتطبيقات تقنية متخصصة تضمن استمرارية الاستفادة من هذا التراث والحفاظ عليه والتعريف به.
