المستخلص: تعد الحياة الاقتصادية في أية مجتمع إنساني من أكثر المظاهر تأثرا بالوضع السياسي السائد في ذلك المجتمع، كما أنها تعد أشد الجوانب تأثرا بما يحدث في تلك الدائرة الاجتماعية من تغييرات سياسية وانعكاسات ناتجة من تطور طبيعة المنهج المتبع في نظام الحكم، فضلا عن ذلك فقد وجد نوع من الارتباط الطردي بين الاستقرار السياسي والازدهار الاقتصادي في جميع المجتمعات الإنسانية دون استثناء. وفي هذا الإطار كان للاستقرار السياسي الذي عرفته مصر في عصر سلاطين المماليك انعكاس واضح على النواحي الحضارية التي وجدت كل الاهتمام والعناية من سلاطين هذه الدولة، حيث أولوا اهتماما خاصا بالتنظيم الإداري والمالي وأوجدوا وظائف ودواوين متعددة وشهد الجانب الاقتصادي نموا وازدهارا كبيرا نتيجة للاستقرار السياسي والتنظيم الإداري والمالي، وكان التطور الثقافي والعمراني من أهم ثمار هذا الاستقرار، وأدى كل ذلك إلى مظاهر الرفاهية التي عاشتها دولة سلاطين المماليك. وفي هذا البحث سوف نقوم برصد صور من جهود سلاطين المماليك إزاء الفقراء في مصر، والتي تنوعت بين توفير الطعام والعمل على تواجده بكل حزم وقوة.

Economic life in any human society is one of the most affected by the political situation prevailing in that society. It is also the most affected by what is happening in that social circle of political changes and the repercussions of the evolution of the nature of the approach used in the system of government. In addition, Between political stability and economic prosperity in all human societies without exception. In this context, the political stability that Egypt experienced in the era of the Mamluk Sultans was a clear reflection on the civilized aspects that found all the attention and care of the sultans of this country. They paid special attention to the administrative and financial organization and created multiple jobs and documents. The economic aspect witnessed great growth and prosperity as a result of stability. Political and administrative and financial, and cultural and urban development was one of the most important fruits of this stability, and all this led to the manifestations of prosperity experienced by the Mamluk Sultans In this research we will monitor the efforts of the Mamluk sultans towards the poor in Egypt, which varied between providing food and working on its presence firmly and forcefully.
