أن هناك علاقة وثيقة بين التنمية ومدى نجاحها في المجتمع والإنفاق التطوعي، حيث تشير الشواهد الواقعية والتاريخية إلى أن التنمية تنبع من الإنسان الذي يعتبر وسيلتها الأساسية، كما أنها تهدف في الوقت ذاته إلى الارتقاء به في جميع الميادين الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والصحية والثقافية، ومن المسلمات أن التنمية تقوم على الجهد البشري، وهو ما يستلزم-بالإضافة إلى الخطط الواضحة والمحددة-وجود الإنسان الواعي القادر على المشاركة في عمليات التنمية. وقد حظي موضوع الأنفاق التطوعي في المجتمعات الإسلامية اهتماما كبيرا، لكن جل هذا الاهتمام كان ينصب على الجوانب الشرعية والاجتماعية، ومدى أهمية ودور الأنفاق التطوعي في تحقيق التكافل الاجتماعي بين أفراد المجتمع الإسلامي، ومع هذا فإن الجانب الاقتصادي ظل بعيدا عن اهتمام الباحثين، من هنا تنبع أهمية الدراسة في بيان دور الأنفاق التطوعي على التنمية الاقتصادية في المجتمع الإسلامي.
Voluntary spending and making money for the needy and the poor is an Islamic demand that derives its roots from the teachings of true Islam that urged materialism, compassion, cooperation and interdependence, elements and synergies, advocacy and tranquility, giving and giving, spending and hastening to good things, which are detailed in many Quranic verses and noble hadiths. There are charitable institutions and bodies that take care of this issue, as it has taken upon itself to collect funds from the wealthy who want to spend and give charity and distribute them to the poor and needy. Despite the existence of these charitable institutions, however, individual voluntary spending and giving charity directly to the needy remains common among people, which is what people are accustomed to and has become an important part of the budget of members of the Islamic community. There is also a close relationship between development and the extent of its success in society and voluntary spending, as factual and historical evidence indicates that development comes from the human being who is considered its primary means, and it aims at the same time to improve it in all economic, social, health and cultural fields, and it is recognized that Development is based on human effort, which requires - in addition to clear and specific plans - the existence of a conscious person who is able to participate in development processes.
