المستخلص: قامت الدراسة على إبراز جانب مهم من جوانب حضارتنا الإسلامية الراقية في معاملة إخواننا في الإنسانية من غير المسلمين، والذين يعيشون في وطن واحد مع إخوانهم المسلمين، وهو جانب الحماية. وتبين من خلال استعراض ما ورد في تراثنا العظيم من شرائع وأحكام ومواقف في هذا الخصوص: أن الإسلام أسس قواعد التعايش والتفاعل والاشتباك الحضاري مع سائر الأديان والمعتقدات، وأن سماحة الإسلام حققت في هذا الصدد مستوى من الرقي والسمو لا نظير لهما في سائر الأديان الأخرى. وقرر البحث أن الإسلام ينظر إلى سائر البشر على أنهم جميعا أمة واحدة، ينتمون جميعا إلى آدم (عليه السلام) فلا يمنع تنوع ثقافاتهم واختلاف ألوانهم وألسنتهم وعقائدهم من وجود صلة قائمة مشتركة بينهم، وهي: الإنسانية. وقد سلط البحث الضوء على دور الإسلام في حماية المواطنين غير المسلمين في بلاد الإسلام، فتعرض البحث لإبراز واجب الحماية الإسلامية لعقائد غير المسلمين، وأنفسهم، وأبدانهم، وأموالهم، وأعراضهم، وحمايتهم من العوز والحاجة، وحمايتهم من التهجير من أوطانهم ودورهم، وعدم التعرض لهم فيما يعقدونه من أطعمة وأشربة وأنكحة ومعاملات. وتبين من خلال هذا العرض الموجز ما حققه الإسلام من إنصاف وسماحة في سائر تعاملاته، لاسيما في مجال بناء العلاقات مع سائر البشر، وتقديم واجب الحماية لحقوق المواطنة، ومد يد العون لحفظ الإنسان، وبناء الأوطان، وصناعة العمران.

The study was based on highlighting an important aspect of our high, end Islamic civilization in the treatment of our non, Muslim brothers in humanity, who live in one homeland with their Muslim brothers, which is the aspect of protection. Through a review of what was mentioned in our great heritage of the laws, rulings and positions in this regard, it became clear: that Islam established the rules of coexistence, interaction and civilized engagement with other religions and beliefs, and that the tolerance of Islam achieved in this regard a level of sophistication and transcendence unparalleled in all other religions. The research decided that Islam views all human beings as one nation, all belonging to Adam, peace be upon him. The diversity of their cultures, their colors, their tongues and their beliefs does not prevent the existence of an existing common link between them, which is: humanity. The research shed light on the role of Islam in protecting non, Muslim citizens in the countries of Islam, so the research focused on highlighting the duty of Islamic protection for the beliefs of non, Muslims, themselves, their bodies, their money, their honor, and protecting them from want and need, and protecting what they believe in and what their role is from their foods, drinks, marriage and transactions. Through this brief presentation, it is clear what equity and tolerance Islam has achieved in all of its dealings, especially in the field of building relationships with other human beings, providing the duty to protect the rights of citizenship, and extending assistance to human preservation, nation, building, and urbanization.
