المستخلص: Praise be to Allah and peace be upon his prophet Mohammed, his family, and his companion .One of the greatest offerings, highest forms of obedience, and loftiest kind of prayers are reciting the holy Quran. Quran has its unique elements making it the best companion in loneliness, fear, and travel. To illustrate, it relives the worries and distress, elevates spiritual status, and increases righteous deeds, and erases sins .The recitation of the Quran plays an essential role in Muslim daily life, which gives it great value in Islam. What makes the recitation such a wonderful relaxing effect, helping to enter deeply into submissiveness and assists in Quran memorization is the manipulation of the voice and employ the system of melodic modes (Maqamat) to produce the musical recitation. The legality of recitation with a melody has a controversial set of ordinances throughout the Islamic history between those who said it is forbidden (Haram), some said it should be avoided (Makrooh), and others who said its lawful (Halal)The study has concluded that the legality of melody employment in the recitation of the Holy Quran is lawful based on when the prophet peace be upon him linked Abe Moussa’s sound during recitation to the flute music. The link between them is their spiritual effect on the listeners that takes their spirits to a calm level. Besides, it is mandatory to follow the "Tajweed" instructions without any violation.
