المستخلص: A source of job creation and wealth, the SME has been the subject of much ink since the 1970s. In Algeria, it was not until the end of the 1990s that public authorities began to operate. to take an interest in this form of business. Through this paper we will try to elucidate the impact of the Algerian private SME in job creation and added value in a country where the hydrocarbon sector represents almost 95% of the GDP

Source de création d’emplois et de richesse, la PME a fait couler beaucoup d’encre, et ce depuis les années 1970. En Algérie, ce n’est qu’à partir de la fin des années 1990 que les pouvoir publics ont commencés à s’intéresser à cette forme d’entreprise. A travers ce papier nous allons tenter d’élucider l’impact de la PME privée algérienne dans la création d’emploi et de la valeur ajoutée dans un pays où le secteur des hydrocarbures représente presque 95% du PIB.
