المستخلص: يدرس البحث (المزاج في فكر ما بعد الحداثة وتمثلاته في الفن الغربي المعاصر)، في شتي للمزاج ليس ببعده النفسي فحسب، بل كنزعة تعالقت بفكر ما بعد الحداثة يمكن أن تتمثل في الفن الغربي المعاصر بوصفها نزعة وسمت العالم المعاصر بطابعها وفرضت نفسها كأولوية معرفية واجتماعية وفنية تتطلب البحث. تضمن البحث أربع فصول، تناول الأول، الإطار المنهجي للبحث ممثلاً بمشكلة البحث وأهميته والحاجة إليه، وهدف البحث الذي يرمي إلى تعرف المزاج في فكر ما بعد الحداثة وتمثلاته في الفن الغربي المعاصر. كما تناول حدود البحث وتحديد اهم المصطلحات. كما تناول الفصل الثاني، الإطار النظري ومؤشراته والذي تضمنت مبحثين، الأول: المزاجية ومقارباتها في فكر ما بعد الحداثة. والثاني: النزعة المزاجية في الفن الغربي. أما الفصل الثالث فتناول البحث إجراءات البحث المتمثلة بمجتمع البحث وعينته وأداة البحث وتحليل عينة البحث. وانتهى البحث بالفصل الرابع الذي تضمن نتائج البحث واستنتاجاته والتوصيات والمقترحات. ومن أبرز نتائج البحث: - ارتبط المزاج بوثاقة تامة مع تقويض العقلانية وتحكمات العقل، فالمزاج فعل ينساب بتلقائية حرة دون قصدية أو أحكام منطقية مسبقة. وهذا ما تمثل في الفن الغربي المعاصر باشتغالات مختلفة مثل الأداء الآني المباشر أو الأساليب البدائية والتلقائية والتشكيلات العشوائية.

The research studies (THE MOOD IN THE CONCEPT OF POST- MODERN AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES IN THE CONTEMPORARY WESTERN ART), in probing for the mood not merely in its psychological limit, but as a trend correlated with the concept of post-modern may be represented in the contemporary western art as a trend that marks the contemporary world with its feature and imposed itself as a cognitive, social and artistic priority worthy to be studied. The research consisted of four chapters, first one dealt with the methodical frame of research represented by the problem of the research and its importance , need for it and the goal of the research which tackles for understanding the mood of post-modern concept and its representatives in the contemporary western art. Also this chapter dealt with limits of research and determining most important terms. Second chapter dealt with theoretical frame and indications that included two sections, first is: temperament and it's approaches in post-modern's concept, the second section was about: moody trend in western art. Third chapter dealt with procedures of research represented by population of research, sample, tool and analyzing the research's sample. Research ended with chapter four that included results, conclusions, recommendations and suggestions. Most important results of the research are: - The mood correlated strongly with undermining the sanity and mental controlling, mood is an action flows with free automatic without intentionally or previous logic rules. That is what was represented in the contemporary modern western art with different works like the direct instantaneous performance or the primary models or automatic styles or random forms.
