|a الجماعات الوظيفية مفهوم اشتغل عليه وطوره عبد الوهاب المسيري، وعده انموذجا تفسيريا للكثير من الظواهر الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية، وهذا البحث يتناول موضوع الجماعات الوظيفية من زاوية محددة وهي طبيعة نظرتها للقيم في ضوء دراسة الخصائص العامة لهذه الجماعات، أو تحليل كيفية ارتباط منظومة القيم بالكيانات الاجتماعية عبر دراسة انموذج الجماعات الوظيفية، فهنا أيضا يتم توظيف مفهوم الجماعات الوظيفية كانموذج تفسيري كما أراد عبد الوهاب المسيري أن يفسر عبرها طبيعة ارتباط منظومة القيم بالأطر الاجتماعية والثقافية وتحولاتها.
