المستخلص: تناول البحث الحالي تمثلات التشاؤم في رسوم الفنان علاء بشير، وهي محاولة لكشف تمثلات التشاؤم في رسوم علاء بشير ولأجل التعريج عن هذه السمة النفسية للرسم العراقي-رسوم الفنان علاء بشير خاصة-جاءت هذه الدراسة لإلقاء الضوء على أهمية هذه السمة السيكولوجية وتمثلاثها في نتاجات ورسوم هذا الفنان (علاء بشير). ووصولا لتحقيق هدف البحث الذي تناول دراسة تعرف تمثلات التشاؤم في رسوم علاء بشير، فقد تضمن البحث أربعة فصول، خصص الأول منها الإطار المنهجي بدا بمشكلة البحث ومرورا بهدف البحث: تعرف (تمثلات التشاؤم في رسوم الفنان علاء بشير). وللفترة الزمنية (١٩٨٤-١٩٩٩) في الأعمال الفنية (اللوحات المرسومة بمادة الزيت) للفنان علاء بشير، فضلا عن تحديد المصطلحات التي تعرض لها البحث. فيما مثل الفصل الثاني، الاطار المنهجي للبحث، فأحتوى على أربعة مباحث، ضمن المبحث الأول، مفهوم التشاؤم فلسفيا، وانصب الاهتمام في المبحث الثاني حول التشاؤم نفسيا، أما المبحث الثالث فقد تضمن إيجاز الدلالات النفسية للألوان والخطوط، أما المبحث الرابع، فقد تضمن بوادر تأسيس الفن العراقي وبروز الفنان علاء بشير ضمن الفنانين، أما الفصل الثالث فقد احتوى إجراءات البحث من حيث حصر مجتمع الحث، والأداة التي شملت جمع المعلومات، فتم اعتماد عينة بطريقة عشوائية (قرعة) فكان عددها (5) عينات (لوحات فنية مرسومة بمادة الزيت) غطت حدود البحث باعتماد المنهج الوصفي لغرض تحليلها. وأخيرا شمل الفصل الرابع النتائج والاستنتاجات التي تمخض عنها البحث في ضوء هدفه، وصلتها بمعطيات الاطار النظري، ومن أهم تلك النتائج: 1-إن اعتماد بعضل صور التشاؤم على خصائص بنائية غير مألوفة كالخروج عن النسب التشريحية الصحيحة وتشويه الأشكال وتحريفها واعتماد المنظور تحت مستوى النظر وكذلك اعتماده على الألوان الباردة والحيادية واستعماله الخطوط المستقيمة الأفقية والمائلة والمتكسرة. 2-أعماله الفنية تتحرى عن أعراض التشاؤم من قلق وجوانب نفسية معقدة ومن بؤس وحرب واكتئاب فهي مخزونات من الأسرار والرغبات والغرائز تكونت في روحية الفنان. كما في عينة رقم (١) (حامل الراية). كما تضمن الفصل الرابع، التوصيات والمقترحات، ومنها: 1-ضرورة التفات مؤسسات الدراسات والبحوث الإنسانية إلى الخزين الثقافي للأعمال الفنية العراقية ودرجها ضمن إطارها المنهجي. 2-التشاؤم ودلالاته بين الفن العراقي وفنون ما بعد الحداثة.
