المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف درجة إتقان تلاميذ الصف الرابع الأساسي لبعض مهارات عمليات العلم في مادة العلوم، اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي من خلال الوقوف على المحاور النظرية للبحث واختيار العينة وتحليل النتائج، حيث تكونت عينة البحث من (130) تلميذا وتلميذة من تلاميذ الصف الرابع الأساسي، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث أعدت الباحثة اختبار لمهارات عمليات العلم تكون من (50) سؤالا موزعة على خمس مهارات (الملاحظة -التصنيف -الاستنتاج -القياس -التنبؤ). ولمعالجة البيانات الإحصائية استخدمت الباحثة المتوسطات الحسابية والنسب المئوية، وقد أظهرت النتائج تدني درجة إتقان تلاميذ الصف الرابع الأساسي لبعض مهارات عمليات العلم في مادة العلوم وفق الآتي: جاءت نسبة مهارات عمليات العلم ككل (54.768%) كانت أقل من الحد المطلوب، والمحدد بالمحك (70%). حيث بلغت نسبة إتقان مهارة الملاحظة (73.23%) وهي نسبة أعلى من الحد المطلوب، والمحدد بالمحك (70%)، وبلغت نسبة إتقان مهارة التصنيف (54.23%) ومهارة الاستنتاج (60.67%)، ومهارة القياس (49.07%)، ومهارة التنبؤ (36.35%).

The study aimed to identify the degree of mastery of the fourth grade basic pupils of some science process skills in the subject of science. The researcher followed the descriptive approach by standing on the theoretical axes of the research and selecting the sample and analyzing the results where the research sample consisted of 130 students of the basic fourth grade and to achieve the research objectives the research prepared a test for the skills of science operations consisting of 50 questions divided into five skills of observation, classification, deduction, measurement and prediction in order to process statistical data, the researcher used arithmetic averages and percentages, and the results showed a low degree of mastery of basic fourth- grade pupils in some science operations skills in the subject of science according to the following the percentage of science operations as a whole (54,768%) was less than the required limit specified in the place of 70%, as the percentage of mastery of the observation skill reached (73,23%), which is a higher percentage than the required limit specified by the criterion 70%, and the percentage of mastery of the skill of classification reached (54,23%) the skill of deduction (60,67%) and his skill of measurement (49,07%) and the skill of forecasting (36,35%), all of which were less than the required limit specified by the criterion 70%.
