المستخلص: Libya has a distinguished geographical location where t is in the middle North Africa with a coastline overlooks the Mediterranean resorts about 1900 km. This location means that Libya has a coast that containing natural ports on the long coastline and this helped Libya to have a main role in boom of its ports and made them famous. Libya was a ring connected between Africa and the most countries of the world. In the Ottoman second era (1835-1911) Tripoli state had seen changes in the political system where the state was divided into the west Tripoli state and Benghazi decorating. The vision of political stability to evolution of economic activity especially in the marine trade area through the ports and the most notably Tripoli port and Benghazi port, this development had produced expansion of internal and external trade traffic. Libya was famous by its exports such as allies and sponge in addition of slave and animals trades and with increase numbers of ships and navigation development several new ports were created and Libya had business relations with many of European countries such as Italy, Britain, Germany and Greece. Libya became a prominent position to theme of European colonialism.
