المستخلص: Over time, French has survived in the Algerian context known for its linguistic and cultural diversity. Our contribution aims to analyze comments from Algerian Youtubers towards this language. We will focus on its status by describing the sociolinguistic representations of subscribers to the popular Anes Tina channel. We asked ourselves questions about the position of French in the country, its symbolic value, its competition with English, and its impact on the Algerian identity discourse. We stipulate that the speech produced by Internet users is presented as an appreciative judgment towards this language. We will prove that the French retain its special status on the platform. But also, he faces yet another attempt to sideline the Englishman. We propose an analysis of the comments of Youtubers in techno discursive situations using a sociolinguistic approach.

Au fil du temps, le français a survécu dans le contexte algérien connu par sa diversité linguistique et culturelle. Le but de notre contribution est d’analyser des commentaires des youtubeurs algériens envers cette langue. Nous allons mettre l’accent sur son statut et ce en décrivant les représentations sociolinguistiques des abonnés de la chaines populaire de Anes Tina. Nous nous sommes posé des questions quant à la position du français dans le pays, sa valeur symbolique, sa concurrence avec l’anglais et son impact sur le discours identitaire algérien. Nous stipulons que le discours produit par les internautes se présente comme un jugement appréciatif envers cette langue. Nous prouverons que le français garde son statut particulier sur la plateforme. Mais aussi, il fait face à une nouvelle tentative d’écartement en faveur de l’anglais. Nous proposons une analyse des commentaires des youtubeurs dans des situations techno discursives en utilisant une approche sociolinguistique.
