يسلط هذا البحث الضوء على أحد أهم الشخصيات الثقافية الليبية، هو المؤرخ الليبي (صلاح الدين حسن السوري) من مواليد طرابلس عام 1936م، نشأ في مدينة الزاوية، ودرس في كلية الآداب في بنغازي، وكلية التربية في طرابلس في الفترة التي امتدت من الستينات إلى تسعينيات القرن الماضي. وقد عمل بالمركز الليبي للمحفوظات والدراسات التاريخية منذ تأسيسه عام 1977م، بصفة مستشار علمي، فكانت له إسهامات كبيرة جدا، حيث قدم دورات تدريبية في مجال البحث التاريخي، التي زودت المركز بأطقم شبابية ذات خلفية علمية بحثية، كما أشرف على قسم الترجمة بالمركز آنذاك والذي أصدر مجموعة من الكتب الوثائقية، ومساهمته في الأبحاث، وكذلك مشاركته في الندوات، والإصدارات للمركز، والمساهمة في تحريرها ومراجعة ما يصدر عن المركز بالإضافة إلى عضويته في مجلس الإدارة وعضويته في اللجنة الاستشارية. كما تولى عضوية مجموعة من الهيئات والمجالس واللجان الثقافية وهي: - - عضوية الجمعية الأفريقية للنصب والمواقع الأثرية عام 1976م. - عضوية الفرع الإقليمي للمركز الدولي للأرشيف (1976-1980م). - عضوية المجلس الدولي للمتاحف (1976-1980م). - عضوية اللجنة الاستشارية للثقافة العربية (اليونسكو) (1977-1980م). - عضو الفرع الإقليمي للمركز الدولي لصيانة الممتلكات الثقافية 1980م. - عضو في مجموعة من الدوريات العلمية: المتاحف الدولية، البحوث التاريخية الليبية، المجلة المغربية التونسية، مجلة كلية التربية الليبية. إن هدف الدراسة هو مناقشة دور المؤرخ وإسهاماته في تطوير مؤسسته من خلال الاطلاع وقراءة جهوده العلمية والبحثية والثقافية، والتي جاءت في صيغة مشروعات استراتيجية، يتم عرضها وفق مستويين هما: المستوى الأول: وهو المستوى المحلي والذي يختص بالمشروعات البحثية داخل المركز. المستوى الثاني: وهو المستوى الدولي من خلال الربط العلمي بين المركز الليبي للمحفوظات والدراسات التاريخية والمؤسسات العلمية المناظرة في الخارج. ولعل الإشكالية التي تطرح في هذا البحث تتمحور في التساؤلات الآتية: كيف ساعد تولي أساتذة مختصين وبخلفية أكاديمية على تطوير مؤسساتهم؟ كيف وفق للربط العلمي مع المؤسسات العلمية المناظرة في الخارج؟ وبما أن البحث يتناول شخصية ثقافية ودورها منذ التأسيس المركز الليبي للمحفوظات والدراسات التاريخية؛ فإن المنهج المتبع في البحث سوف يكون المنهج (الوصفي التاريخي). ولدراسة وإعداد هذا البحث تم الاعتماد على بعض الوثائق المتصلة بموضوع البحث، إلى جانب الكتب ومقالات في بعض الدوريات.
This research highlights on one of the most important Libyan cultural figures, namely, the Libyan historian (Sallaheddin Hassan al-Sury, born in Tripoli in 1936 AD, who grew up in the city of Al-Zawiya.He studied at the Faculty of Arts in Benghazi, and the Faculty of Education in Tripoli in the period that extended from the sixties to the nineties of the last century. He has worked at the Libyan Center for Archives and Historical Studies since its founding in 1977, as a scientific advisor, he had very great contributions, also provided training courses in the field of historical research, which equipped the center with youth teams with a scientific research background, he also supervised the translation department at the center at the time, which issued a number of documentary books, and contributed to research, as well as his participation in courses and publications at the center, contributing to its editing and review of what is issued by the center in addition to its membership in the Board of Directors and its membership in the Advisory Committee. He also held membership in a number of cultural bodies, councils and committees, namely: - Membership of the African Society for Monuments and Archaeological Sites in 1976. - Membership of the regional branch of the International Center for Archives (1976 - 1980). - Membership of the International Council of Museums (1976 - 1980). - Membership of the Advisory Committee for Arab Culture (UNESCO) (1977 - 1980). - Member of the regional branch of the International Center for the Preservation of Cultural Property in 1980. - Member of a group of scientific periodicals: International Museums, Libyan Historical Research, Moroccan-Tunisian Journal, and Journal of the Libyan College of Education. - The aim of the study is to discuss the historian’s role and contributions to the development of his institution through reading his scientific, research and cultural efforts, which came in the form of strategic projects, presented according to two levels: The first level: It is the local level, which is concerned with research projects within the center. - The second level: The international level through the scientific link between the Libyan Center for Archives and Historical Studies and the corresponding scientific institutions abroad. Perhaps the problem that arises in this research revolves around the following questions: How has the appointment of specialized professors with an academic background helped develop their institutions? How is the scientific link with the corresponding scientific institutions abroad? Since the research deals with a cultural personality and its role since the founding of the Libyan Center for Archives and Historical Studies; The method used in the research will be the (historical descriptive) method. In order to study and prepare this research, some documents related to the research topic were relied upon, in addition to books and articles in some periodicals.
