تعد الأدبيات السياسية والتاريخية أن معان محطة مهمة في مسيرة الأمير عبد الله بن الحسين، ومنعرج مهم في حياة الرجل القائد نحو تثبيت أركان الدولة الأردنية وذلك في إطار تعزيز الهوية القومية العربية وربط أركان الدولة بشرائع الإسلام يؤسس لها مناعة فكرية وجغرافية تجلت في طبيعة السلوك الريادي الذي تبناه الأمير منذ سنة ١٩٠٤ م. الدراسة تهدف إلى تبيان طبيعة المنطلقات الفكرية والمرجعية الاستراتيجية التي ارتكز عليها الرجل القائد الأمير عبد الله بن الحسين وأثر ذلك في نشوء وتطور الدولة الأردنية الحديثة. وذلك في إطار خصوصية واستثنائية التجربة التاريخية للأمير. معتمدين في ذلك على منهج تحليل الأحداث لإدوارد عازار الذي من خلاله سيتم تحليل وتفسير الأبعاد السياسية والاستراتيجية للوقائع والمحطات التاريخية التي ساهمت في بلورة الفكر والوعاء الاستراتيجي الذي أطر خطوت الأمير الجادة في بناء الدولة الأردنية. هذا إلى جانب المنهج الوصفي الذي من خلاله يتم الربط بين المعطيات والمعلومات الخاصة بماضي دينامية الأمير في سعيه لتأسيس الدولة في ظل بيئة داخلية وأخري دولية يحكمها الشك وعدم اليقين الاستراتيجي. مع مآلات الفعل السياسي والعسكري للرجل الأمير وانعكاساتها على طبيعة المكون الجغرافي والمجتمعي لمشروع الدولة. الرجوع إلى تجربة الأمير في تأسيس الدولة الأردنية تعد مرجعا استراتيجيا وعقيدة قومية ورافدا سياسيا مهم تؤسس للمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية مدرسة فكرية استراتيجية وبوصلة قومية تسترشد من خلالها نحو دينامية فاعلة وذلك في إطار الاستفادة من محورية الدور وأهمية التاريخ واللحظة الاستراتيجية التي ساهمت في نهضة عربية عززت من معطى استقلالية الكينونة الجغرافية العربية وخصوصية هويتها العربية الإسلامية.

This is in addition to the descriptive approach, through which the data and information on the past dynamics of the Emir in his quest to establish the state are linked in light of an internal and international environment governed by doubt and strategic uncertainty. With the consequences of the political and military action of the emir and its implications for the nature of the geographical and societal component of the state project.
