|a هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى المعرفة بالطاقة المتجددة لدى طلبة كلية العلوم بجامعة جدة في المملكة العربية السعودية، فضلا عن معرفة أثر متغير (الجنس) في ذلك، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وقد تم تطبيق اختبار مكون من (20) سؤالا بأربعة بدائل بينها إجابة واحدة صحيحة على (427) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة كلية العلوم بجامعة جدة في مرحلة البكالوريوس؛ ولتحليل البيانات تم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية، واختبار (ت) للعينة الواحدة، واختبار (ت) للعينات المستقلة، وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى المعرفة لدى طلبة كلية العلوم بجامعة جدة متدن، فضلا عن عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات الذكور والإناث في اختبار مستوى المعرفة بالطاقة المتجددة.
|b This study aimed to identify the level of knowledge about renewable energy among the University of Jeddah students in Saudi Arabia, measures the differences in knowledge between genders. A descriptive methodology was employed to study this phenomenon. The researchers use a written test as tool to collect the data. This test was comprised of 20 multiple choice questions to measure students’ knowledge. The total number of participants who answer the test was 427 students from both female and male sections in the Faculty of Science at the University of Jeddah. In order to analyze the data, mean scores, standard division, One-sample t-Test and the Independent-Samples t-Test. Results indicated that the level of knowledge among the University of Jeddah students was low. In addition, there were no statistical significant differences between male and female students’ knowledge.
