|b Previous research assumed that attendance at work was highly correlated to performance. Presenteeism in the workplace, in the form of a physical presence when the employee is physically or morally ill, seems nowadays more widespread than absenteeism. Thus, organizations are encouraged to reconsider their approaches to organizational employee engagement at work. This study mainly seeks to identify the most important behavioral correlates of presenteeism with a complementarity of absenteeism as a classic phenomenon at work. The results confirm the influence of the psychological component by the Stress item on presenteeism behavior.
|d Cette étude cherche à identifier essentiellement les principaux corrélats comportementaux du présentéisme avec une complémentarité du phénomène classique l'absentéisme au travail. Les résultats de la recherche confirment l’influence de la composante psychologique par l’item Stress sur le comportement présentéisme.
