-الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه ومن والاه، وبعد، -تناول هذا البحث بيان السمات المنهجية للباحث في الأديان، والتي لها أثر عظيم في دراسة الأديان والتعامل مع أهلها، وقد تمثلت هذه السمات في الآتي: -تحديد المسميات (المصطلحات)، ووضع الفرضيات، والتنبؤ، والقياس، والإتيان بالحجج والأدلة، وجمع المعلومات، والملاحظة والتبين، وطلب الشهادة، وضرب الأمثلة، والاستدلال العقلي، والاستنتاج، والتجربة العلمية، والشورى، والحوار والمناظرة، والتعلم بالمواقف، والاستقراء، والأمانة العلمية، والموضوعية، وعدم استعداء المخالفين، وعدم تعميم الأحكام، وترك الجدال، والتجرد من الأهواء، وتقييم الأدلة ومناقشتها، والتعرف على سلوكيات ونفسيات الآخر. -وهناك سمات أخرى، لم نتعرض لها بالتفصيل تتمثل في: حب المعرفة والرغبة في التعلم، والقدرة على التواصل، والنظرة الشمولية والتحلي بالصبر، والقراءة في تاريخ وحضارات الأمم، والدقة والتركيز، والحفظ وعدم النسيان، وامتلاك خلق أدب الحوار والإنصات للغير، القدرة على التعبير عن الأفكار بلغة سليمة فصيحة، وتقبل الآراء، سواء كانت سلبية أو إيجابية.

This research delves into the methodological aspects employed by researchers in the study of religions, which greatly influence their understanding and interaction with religious phenomena. These methodological features encompass several key elements: defining terms, formulating hypotheses, making predictions, conducting measurements, providing arguments and evidence, collecting information, observing and elucidating, seeking testimony, providing examples, engaging in rational reasoning, deduction, scientific experiments, consultation, dialogue and debate, learning through situational experiences, extrapolation, scientific honesty and objectivity, avoiding antagonizing opponents, refraining from making sweeping generalizations, abandoning arguments, being free from biases, evaluating and discussing evidence, and understanding human behaviour and psychology. Furthermore, there are additional characteristics that we did not discuss in detail, which include a love for knowledge and a desire to learn, effective communication skills, a broad and comprehensive perspective, patience, delving into the history and civilizations of different nations, attention to accuracy and focus, capacity for memorization and retention of information, cultivating the art of dialogue and active listening, expressing ideas eloquently and articulately, and accepting both negative and positive opinions.
