المستخلص: ظلت القصص المصورة حبيسة عالم الأطفال مما تسبب في إغفال قدرة هذا النوع من الفنون على تصوير مجتمعاتنا المعاصرة والتنديد ببعض الممارسات الشائعة بها إلا أنها بدأت تلاقي اليوم إعجاب القراء باختلاف أعمارهم. تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى التأكيد على ما يمثله فن القصص المصورة من مادة للتحليل بالنسبة للباحثين وذلك من خلال طرح قراءة لأحد قصص مجموعة "السنافر" للرسام البلجيكي بيو وهو "السنفور المحقق الصحفي" الذي صدر عام ٢٠٠٣. يتناول الألبوم ظهور شخصية الصحافي أو بالأحرى المحقق الصحفي داخل مجتمع السنافر الذي يعد تجسيدا مصغرا للمجتمع البشري ويبدو سابقا لعصره فيودي هذا الظهور إلى قلب النظام الذي تسود فيه قيم التضامن وتنظيم العمل رأسا على عقب. يقوم المحقق الصحفي بإصدار صحيفة جديدة لوصع حد لظاهرة انتشار الإشاعات والأخبار المغلوطة غير أن الصحيفة لا تحقق الهدف المنشود منها وتقوم بدورها بنشر أخبارا ومعلومات غير دقيقة من شأنها إحداث الفرقة داخل هذا المجتمع الصغير. تشير الدراسة إلى بعض سمات الصحافة الجماهيرية كما وردت بالقصة من خلال التوقف عند نوعي "الأخبار المتفرقة" و"التحقيقات الصحفية" مما يسمح باختراق عالم "صحافة المشاهير". تعيد الدراسة النظر في السلطة المتنامية لوسائل الإعلام لتثير مجموعة من التساؤلات حول البعد الاقتصادي للمعلومات وحرية الصحافة والعلاقة بين الصحافة والسياسة مع التأكيد على طبيعة الدور الموكل إلى الصحافي في عصر التلاعب بالعقول.

Victime d’une infantilisation réductrice qui a occulté le pouvoir de cette forme d’art dans la représentation du monde actuel et la dénonciation de pratiques observées au sein de différentes communautés, la Bande Dessinée suscite aujourd’hui un engouement parmi toutes les tranches d’âges. Cette étude se propose de souligner l’intérêt que présentent les bandes dessinées pour les chercheurs en se penchant sur un album de la saga des Schtroumpfs du dessinateur belge Peyo, Le Schtroumpf Reporter sorti en 2003. L’apparition d’un journaliste, plus précisément, d’un reporter au sein de cette société humaine en miniature qui semble en avance sur son temps, n’a pas été sans bouleverser l’ordre établi où trônent les valeurs de solidarité et d’organisation du travail. Source de fausses nouvelles et d’informations le plus souvent détournées, le nouveau journal fonctionne de la même façon que les rumeurs qu’il était censé combattre. L’analyse permet de relever des traits caractéristiques du journalisme de masse à travers les genres du fait divers et du reportage dont l’historique est retracé et, ce faisant, de pénétrer dans l’univers de la presse people. La remise en question du pouvoir grandissant des médias soulève nombre d’interrogations sur la dimension économique de l’information, la liberté de la presse, le rapport entre presse et politique tout en mettant l’accent sur la fonction que devrait assumer le journaliste à l’ère de la manipulation des esprits.

Comic books, long relegated to the realm of children's entertainment, have often been overlooked for their potential to depict contemporary societies and critique common practices. However, in recent times, they have gained admiration from readers of all ages. This study aims to underscore the significance of comic book art as a subject for analysis by researchers. It does so by offering an interpretation of a story from the "Smurfs" collection by the Belgian artist Peyo, titled "The Smurf, the Investigative Journalist," published in 2003. The album explores the introduction of the character of the investigative journalist into Smurf society, a miniature representation of human society that appears surprisingly advanced for its time. This introduction disrupts the prevailing system built on values of solidarity and organized labour. Despite the journalist's intention to combat rumours and false news with a new newspaper, the endeavour backfires, leading to the publication of inaccurate information that fuels division within the community. The study highlights various aspects of mass journalism depicted in the story, particularly focusing on the concepts of "scattered news" and "investigative journalism," which provide insight into the world of celebrity journalism. The study reconsiders the growing power of the media to raise a set of questions about the economic dimension of information, freedom of the press, and the relationship between journalism and politics while emphasizing the nature of the role assigned to the journalist in the era of mind manipulation.
