|a ذا الموضوع يبحث في " أوجه النشاط التجاري البحري لإقليم قورينة بشرق ليبيا في العصر البيزنطي في ضوء رسائل سينسيوس القوريني (Synesius of Cyene 360-413م)". ويتناول التعريف بالإقليم وأهم مدنه، وملامحه الجغرافية، الحديث عن موانيه البحرية، وأهميتها التجارية، وأهم المنتجات التي كانت تصدر منه، ومنها السلفيوم والنبيذ وزيت الزيتون والنعام والعسل والأغنام والماشية، وكذلك المنتجات التي كان يستوردها من الخارج من مدن وجزر البحر المتوسط مثل الإسكندرية وكريت Crete والساحل السوري، ومن هذه المنتجات الأسلحة مثل السيوف والرماح والدروع والخيول والملابس، مع عرض لأمثلة عن تكاليف الشحنات التجارية، ونموذج لعملية إنقاذ بحرى لبعض السفن التجارية، كما أهتم بالبحث في عوائق النشاط التجاري البحري في الإقليم وكان أهمها ضيق الموانئ وكثرة صخورها وسوء الأحوال الجوية وهجوم قبائل البربر.
|b This Subject Discusses the study of the maritime commercial activity of the Region of Cyrene in eastern Libya in the Byzantine era in the letters of Synesius of Cyrene (360-413 AD).The definition of the Region and its most important cities, and its geographical features, talk about its sea ports, their commercial importance, and the most important products that were exported from it, including silphium, wine, olive oil, ostriches, honey, sheep and cattle. And research for the products that imported from abroad from cities and islands of the Mediterranean, such as Alexandria and Crete And the Syrian coast, and these products include arms such as weapons, swords, spears, shields, horses and clothes, with a presentation of examples of the costs of commercial shipments, and a model for a maritime rescue operation for some commercial ships. It was also interested in researching the risks to maritime commercial activity, the most important of which were the narrow of the ports, the large number of rocks, the bad weather conditions and the attack of the Berber tribes.
