استعرضت الدراسة التقنيات والأساليب المختلفة والمضافة للملابس كمكمل، فأصبح من الممكن تنفيذ مكملات الملابس من خليط وتوليف بين عناصر وخامات مختلفة، والملابس لها تأثير كبيرا على نفسية الطفل فقد اتجهت الدراسة إلى الاهتمام ببقايا الخامات سواء كانت طبيعية أو صناعية وإعادة صياغتها في إنتاج مكملات ملابس الأطفال لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة جاءت فكرة البحث في إعادة تدوير بقايا الأقمشة لهدف الاستفادة منها ولتحقيق الجانب الاقتصادي بجانب الإلمام بطبيعة هذه الخامات وطرق صياغتها في عمل مكملات ملابس الأطفال. وقد خلصت النتائج إلى الحصول على صياغات مستحدثة لمكملات ملابس الأطفال في ضوء ما يتوافق مع الموضة والعصر الحالي باستخدام بقايا الأقمشة، كما كشفت الدراسة عن أساليب مختلفة للتوليف بين بقايا الأقمشة مما يساعد في تكوين رؤية مبتكرة لتوظيف بعض الخامات المتوفرة لتصنيع مكملات ملابس الأطفال، وأظهرت النتائج الإحصائية نجاحا من الجانب الجمالي والوظيفي والاقتصادي، لذا اتجهت الباحثة إلى الاستفادة من بقايا وتدوير الأقمشة في إثراء القيم الجمالية والوظيفية لمكملات ملابس الأطفال لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
