|b The positive effect of innovation on the competitiveness of both companies and nations is clear nowadays. In Morocco, innovation was start with a comprehensive reform of national education and research system since 2000. Therefore, this system still young but with interesting potential. Despite all efforts, the innovation statistics in Morocco area show some delay, due to inadequate resources, poor collaboration between universities and companies, and a lack of governance and financing of R & D projects In the private sector. In addition, SMEs are still poor export-oriented and business start are weak and still hardly concern technologically innovative sectors.
|d L’effet positif de l’innovation sur la compétitivité des entreprises ou des nations n’est plus à démontrer de nos jours. Au Maroc, l’innovation a débuté avec une réforme globale du système national de l’enseignement et de la recherche en 2000. Il s’agit donc, d’un système encore jeune, mais avec des potentialités intéressantes. Malgré les efforts consentis, les chiffres de l’innovation réalisés au Maroc témoignent d’un certain retard, en raison de ressources insuffisantes, d’une faible collaboration entre université et entreprise, et d’un déficit de gouvernance et de financement des projets R&D dans le secteur privé. En outre, les PME restent encore insuffisamment tournées vers l’exportation et les créations d’entreprises sont assez faibles et concernent encore peu les secteurs innovants technologiquement.
