تمثل تقنية التقاطب آلية سردية ناجعة وفعالة في عرض مختلف التصورات والآراء في مساحة السرد بشكل ثنائي، يتقابل ضمنها الضد بضده، وتتضح معها الرؤى وتتحدد الغايات المتضمنة في رسم المعاني في مساحة السرد، بشكل يستعرض فيه الروائي معارفه بالتقاليد التقنية لإنتاج الحكي، ويظهر معه انفتاحه واستيعابه لمستجدات الممارسة النقدية في آن واحد، كون ميدان الرواية فضاء لا يعرف الثبات والسكون في مستوياته المختلفة، ومكون الزمن الروائي مثال واضح على حقيقة التجدد وعلى صور التحديث المستمر لتعاقب آليات التجريب في تقديم الحقب الزمنية بأشكال وألوان تداعب فيها حتمية التاريخ وتسجيلاته واقعية الحاضر واضطراباته، مما يضمن نوعا من التوازن في البناء السردي وفي توزيع الأدوار والوظائف، ويتيح كذلك استجداء غايات للتنويع في طرح قضايا الحاضر بطرق تكسر شاقولية الزمن وخطيته، وتتيح للتاريخ أن يعيد نفسه في حاضر السرد من جديد.
The binary method is considered as an adequate and effective narration mechanism in displaying variant views and stances within a narrative space dichotomously, its content meets with its opposition, and it paves the way for clearer visions and indicates the purposes that is presented in painting the meanings in its narrative space, in a way that the author exhibits and reveals his/her knowledge about the traditions of the method of producing narration, where it also appears along with it an openness and comprehension of the newest critical practices at the same time. Since the sphere of the novel is a space that doesn’t stand stable or silent in its variant levels, and the creator of the novel’s story period is a manifest example of truth of renovation and constant modernisation for the succession of the experimental mechanisms in the presentation of the time periods in forms and colours that allures the sureness of history and its authentic records, the present and its troubles, which assured a sort of equilibrium is the construction of narration and in the distribution of roles and functions. Moreover, it offers helpful purposes in order to diversify in approaching present cases in ways that disintegrate the verticality of time and its linearity, it also allows history to repeat itself in the present narration anew.
