المستخلص: This paper aims to determine the demand for diesel fuel in Algeria, by using a co-integration approach through ARDL approach (Auto Regressive Distributed Lags). The results obtained indicate the existence of a long-term co-integration relationship between the demand for diesel fuel and the transportation of merchandizes, as well as the existence of an error correction mechanism that adjusts the demand during a shock produced in the short term.

Ce travail consiste à étudier la demande du gasoil en Algérie à travers des variables supposées déterminantes de cette demande, en utilisant une approche de cointegration à travers un modèle autorégressive à retard échelonné appelée ARDL (Auto Regressive Distributed Lags). Les résultats obtenus indiquent une existence d’une relation de cointégration à long terme entre la demande du gasoil et le transport routier des marchandises, ainsi que l’existence d’un mécanisme de correction d’erreur qui ajuste la demande lors d’un choc produit à cour terme.
