تتباين المسائل الأصولية المعروضة للدراسات المختلفة بحسب الاتجاهات والحيثيات المأخوذة في بحثها، ذلك أن بعضها يكون محكوما بعنوانات واضحة وبعضها متصيدا. أما الأول فتكون المسؤولية البحثية أسهل بكثير من الأخرى المتصيدة – وإن كانت المسائل الأصولية في الجملة لا تخلو من تعقيد بحسب طبيعتها العقلية والمبتنيات الاجتهادية – ضرورة كون الثانية بحاجة إلى إمعان نظر ودقة بشكل أكبر. وإن تلك الموضوعات هي موضوعة (الإطلاق المقامي) الذي يذكره الأصوليون والفقهاء على طريقة المتسالم والاستطراد من دون تفصيل مرتكزاته المعرفية والعلمية. ومن هنا يحاول الباحث جمع شتات هذا المطلب المهم لما له واقعية عملية في التطبيق الأصولي والفقهي. وانتظم البحث في تمهيد وأربعة مباحث: أما التمهيد: فقد بين الإطار النظري للبحث. والمبحث الأول: تضمن الإطلاق اللفظي وحقيقته وأقسامه وملاكه. والمبحث الثاني: أوضح الإطلاق المقامي وحقيقته وأقسامه وملاكه. واشتمل المبحث الثالث على الفوارق بين الإطلاق اللفظي والمقامي. وضم المبحث الرابع: التطبيقات الأصولية والفقهية – وتضمن البحث خاتمة لأهم النتائج التي استخلصها البحث وتوصل إليها، وأخيرا قائمة بأهم المصادر والمراجع المعتمدة في البحث.
