المستخلص: "أندريه شديد هي واحدة من أشهر الكتاب الناطقين بالفرنسية في النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين، ولدت في مصر عام 1920، لأب لبناني وأم سورية، وهي تحتل مكانة خاصة في الأدب الناطق بالفرنسية في الشرق الأوسط، وقد تركت أندريه شديد أعمالا أدبية وفيرة ومتنوعة بعد وفاتها عام 2011 في العاصمة الفرنسية ""باريس"". إن بحثنا الذي يحمل عنوان ""الحب والموت في رواية"" اليوم السادس ""للكاتبة أندريه شديد""، يقوم على مفهومين مجردين هما ""الحب والموت"" واللذان يؤثران فينا بعمق. من خلال أحداث الرواية، يتواجه الحب والموت بل يتشاجران، فهما يمثلان محورين مهمين للغاية في الرواية المراد دراستها، فهما يوجهان الأحداث ويعطيان مزيدا من القوة لهذا العمل الرومانسي. يتواجد الحب بشكل جيد في رواية ""اليوم السادس"" وبأشكال مختلفة. وفي هذا البحث نتناول حب الكاتبة لمصر، والذي يظهر بوضوح في الرواية وأيضا نتناول الحب عند شخصيات الرواية. ومن خلال الرواية نلحظ أن الموت يمثل عنصرا مهما عند كاتبتنا، حيث تلقي أندريه شديد الضوء علي وجودنا العابر في الحياة؛ هذا السباق ضد الموت من جانب البطلة ""صديقة"" هو شهادة جيدة على صراعنا اليومي ضد القدر. يود المؤلف أن يواجه البشر بحقيقة وضعهم الإنساني وذلك من خلال قصة خيالية، قريبة جدا من الواقع، وقد نجحت الروائية في تجسيد نهايتنا الوشيكة وضعفنا في مواجهة الموت الذي يهدد جميع الشخصيات في الرواية. مع التأكيد علي تعلقنا بالحياة، وتدعونا لنحب بعضنا البعض، خاصة في اللحظات الحرجة في حياتنا، قبل قدوم الموت. أرادت الكاتبة أندريه شديد أن تبرهن على أن الحب وحده لا يكفي لمواجهة وباء قاتل مثل الكوليرا وأنه لا أحد يستطيع الهروب من الموت الموجود في كل مكان والذي يصيب – من وقت لآخر- الصغير قبل الكبير. وهكذا نجحت أندريه شديد في التعبير بشكل واضح عن هذين المفهومين: الحب والموت، من خلال ربطهما بحالتنا الإنسانية المؤسفة، وبالتأكيد في النهاية على أن الموت أقوى من الحب، لكن على الرغم من ذلك فإن كلاهما موجود بالتوازي في حياتنا العابرة."

"Andrée Chédid est l'une des écrivaines d'expression française les plus populaires de la deuxième moitié du XXe siècle, elle est née en Égypte en 1920, d'un père libanais et d'une mère syrienne. Elle occupe une place à part dans la littérature francophone du Moyen-Orient. A. Chédid a laissé une oeuvre littéraire abondante et variée après sa mort en 2011 à la capitale française ""Paris"". Notre recherche, qui porte comme titre "" L'amour et la mort dans ""Le sixième jour"" d'Andrée Chédid"", est basée sur deux conceptions abstraites, ""l'amour et la mort"" qui nous touchent profondément. À travers les événements du roman, l'amour et la mort s'affrontent, se disputent; ils représentent deux axes très importants dans le roman à étudier, ils dirigent l'action et donnent beaucoup de sens et de force à cet ouvrage romanesque. L'amour est bien souligné dans ""Le sixième jour"" et se présente sous différentes formes. Nous traitons l'amour de l'écrivaine pour l'Egypte, qui apparaît clairement dans le roman en analysant aussi l'amour chez les personnages. La mort représente un élément important chez notre écrivaine. À travers ""Le sixième jour"", Andrée Chédid jette la lumière sur notre existence éphémère dans la vie; cette course contre la mort de la part de Saddika est le bon témoignage sur notre combat quotidien contre le destin. L'auteure voudrait confronter les êtres humains à la vérité de leur condition humaine. À travers un récit imaginaire, tout près du réel, la romancière a réussi à concrétiser notre finitude prochaine et notre faiblesse face à la mort qui menace tous les personnages du roman. Andrée Chédid souligne bien notre attachement à la vie, en nous invitant à nous aimer, surtout aux moments critiques de notre vie, avant que la mort ne vienne. Andrée Chédid a voulu démontrer que l'amour seul ne suffit pas à affronter une épidémie mortelle comme le choléra et que personne ne peut échapper à la mort qui existe partout et qui frappe le petit avant le grand. Ainsi, Andrée Chédid a-t-elle réussi à bien concrétiser ces deux conceptions : l'amour et la mort, en les reliant à notre condition humaine lamentable et en affirmant en fin de compte que la mort est plus forte que l'amour; mais malgré cela, tous les deux existent parallèlement dans notre vie passagère."

Andrée Chedid is one of the most renowned French-speaking writers of the second half of the twentieth century. Born in Egypt in 1920 to a Lebanese father and a Syrian mother, she holds a distinctive position in French-speaking literature in the Middle East. After her passing in 2011 in the French capital, Paris, Andrée Chedid left behind a prolific and varied body of literary works. Our research, titled "Love and Death in the Novel 'The Sixth Day' by Andrée Chedid," delves into two abstract concepts, "Love and Death," which profoundly impact us. Throughout the events of the novel, love and death confront and even clash, representing two crucial axes for study. These concepts guide the narrative, adding strength to this romantic work. Love manifests itself prominently in "The Sixth Day" in various forms. In this research, we explore the author's love for Egypt, evident in the novel, and also examine the love portrayed by the novel's characters. Throughout the novel, we observe that death holds significant importance for the author, Andrée Chedid, as she illuminates our transient existence in life. The protagonist Siddiqa's race against death serves as a poignant reflection of our daily struggle against fate. Through a fictional narrative closely mirroring reality, the author aims to confront readers with the reality of their human condition. Chedid successfully encapsulates our inevitable end and our vulnerability in the face of death, a threat looming over all the characters in the novel. The narrative underscores our attachment to life and urges us to cherish our relationships, particularly in critical moments, before the inevitability of death arrives. The writer Andrée Chedid intended to demonstrate that love alone is insufficient to confront a deadly epidemic like cholera, and that no one can escape the omnipresent specter of death, affecting both the young and the old from time to time. Thus, Chedid successfully articulates these two concepts, love and death, by intertwining them with our precarious human condition.
