المستخلص: يتناول المقال التعلق والتجذر الشديدين لأندريه شديد بأصول بلدها الأم، ولهذا أخذت كل قصصها لون الثقافة الشرقية ونبرة الحنين من خلال وصفها لمصر والتي تعد مهد طفولتها وللنيل الذي يعتبر مصدر إلهامها. وهذا ما جعل من كتابتها أغنية حب لمصر ولرموزها.

Le présent article aborde l'attachement et l'enracinement d'Andrée Chédid aux sources et aux origines de son pays natal. Teintés de la culture orientale, ses récits évoquent beaucoup de nostalgie à travers l'Egypte ; la terre de son enfance et le Nil ; la source de son inspiration. Ce qui fait de son écriture un chant d’amour pour l'Egypte et ses symboles.

This article discusses the attachment and rooting of Andree Chedid to the sources and origins of her native country. Tinged with oriental culture, his stories evoke much nostalgia throughout Egypt; the land of his childhood and the Nile; the source of his inspiration. Witch makes his writing a love song for Egypt and its symbols.
