المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على تقرير وثائقي يظهر جانبا مهما من تاريخ الأزهر الإصلاحي في أوائل القرن العشرين الميلادي، وهو تقرير مقدم من علماء وطلاب الأزهر للخديوي عباس حلمي الثاني سنة ١٣٢٥ هـ / ١٩٠٧ م نادوا فيه بالإصلاح، مع ذكرهم لمطالب تعمل على تطوير وإصلاح الجامع الأزهر، وعن خطة البحث فقد قسمته إلى مبحثين، ثم الخاتمة، وأخيرا المصادر والمراجع، المبحث الأول: الشق الدراسي، يتناول الظروف التاريخية لصدور التقرير، ووصفه، أولا: الظروف التاريخية لصدور التقرير. ثانيا: وصف التقرير الوثائقي، من حيث الشكل، وموارده التي اعتمد عليها، وثالثا: النظرة الإصلاحية في (التقرير) الوثائقي. رابعا: آثار التقرير الإصلاحية، وفي المبحث الثاني: نشر التقرير الوثائقي مع توضيح غامضه، والأعلام المذكورة فيه والمصطلحات من خلال الحاشية، أما الخاتمة ذكرت فيها أهم نتائج البحث وتوصياته وقد اعتمدت على عدد من الوثائق مثل: أرشيف الجامع الأزهر، وأرشيف وثائق عابدين، الذي ضم بين أوراقه الأرشيفية ذلك التقرير -مدار البحث -وهو التقرير المقدم من الجمعية الإصلاحية الأزهرية إلي الخديوي عباس حلمي الثاني عن إصلاح الأزهر، وقد حمل الكود الأرشيفي رقم (006974-0069)؛ فضلا عن المراجع والدوريات.

This research aims to shed light on a documentary report that shows an important aspect of Al-Azhar’s reformist history in the early twentieth century AD, a report submitted by Al-Azhar scholars and students to Khedive Abbas Helmy II in 1325 AH / 1907 AD in which they called for reform, while mentioning demands that work on developing and reforming the Al-Azhar Mosque. As for the research plan, it was divided into two sections, then the conclusion, and finally the sources and references. The first topic: the study part, deals with the historical circumstances of the issuance of the report, and its description. First: the historical circumstances of the report's issuance. Second: A description of the documentary report, in terms of form, and the resources on which it relied, and third: the reformist view of the documentary (report). Fourth: Reform effects of the report. In the second topic: the publication of the documentary report with an ambiguous clarification, the flags mentioned in it and the terminology through the footnote, while the conclusion mentioned the most important findings and recommendations of the research, and it relied on a number of documents such as: Al-Azhar Mosque Archive, and Abdeen Documents Archive, which included among its archival papers that The report - the focus of research - is the report submitted by the Al-Azhar Reform Society to Khedive Abbas Helmy II on the reform of Al-Azhar, and it bears the archival code No. (006974_0069); As well as references and periodicals.
