هدفت الدراسة إلى تحليل أثر التطور التقني على التشغيل في الأنشطة الإنتاجية في المملكة العربية السعودية. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الاستقرائي وأسلوبي الوصف والقياس وذلك من خلال بناء نموذج قياسي يمكن من تقدير أثر التطور التقني على التشغيل، في الأنشطة الإنتاجية للمملكة في الفترة 2005- 2017م. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن للتطور التقني أثر سلبي على التشغيل في الأنشطة الإنتاجية للمملكة في الفترة 2005- 2017. وبحسب نتائج اختبار التكامل المشترك هناك علاقة طويلة المدى بين التطور التقني والتشغيل في الأنشطة محل الدراسة. وقد أوصت الدراسة بأهمية صناعة التقنية في المملكة وعدم الاعتماد على استيرادها، وتعزيز الشراكات الاستراتيجية بين المملكة والدول الصناعية من خلال صناعة هذه التقنيات في المملكة وتدريب الأيدي السعودية على ذلك. كما أوصت الدراسة بضرورة استشراف المستقبل ومحاولة التنبؤ بالتقنيات المستقبلية من خلال المعطيات الحالية والعمل على تدريب الكوادر الوطنية وتعليمها بما يتوافق مع التقنية المتوقعة مما يمكن من تقليص البطالة إلى أقصى حد ممكن. والتي قد تنشأ بسبب التحول من مستوى تقني إلى آخر.
The study aimed to analyze the impact of technical development on employment in productive activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study relied on the inductive approach and methods of description and measurement, by building a standard model that enables the assessment of the impact of technical development on employment, in the Kingdom's productive activities in the period 2005-2017. The study concluded that technical development had a negative impact on employment in the Kingdom's productive activities in the period 2005-2017. According to the results of the co integration test, there is a long-term relationship between technical development and operation in the activities under study. The study recommended the importance of the technology industry in the Kingdom and not relying on its import, and the strengthening of strategic partnerships between the Kingdom and the industrial countries through the manufacture of these technologies in the Kingdom and the training of Saudi hands on that. The study also recommended the need to anticipate the future and try to predict future technologies through the current data and to work on training and educating national cadres in accordance with the expected technology, which would reduce unemployment to the maximum extent possible. Which may arise due to the transition from one technical level to another.
