المستخلص: The literary text is the artistic and cultural construction which arbitrates to an exceptional and diversified universe. It is an eternal art which takes its value from its referentiality and its character that is extremely figurative. This research is highlighted in language and cultural didactic, we are mainly interested in didactization of literary writing. We attempt chiefly to study the practice of Algerian secondary school teachers in addition; to identify the eventual constraints surrounding their exploitation in foreign language class. To achieve this, we have carried out an analytical quantitative research with high school teachers. It comes out with the status of literary text which is significantly less privilege and its literary reading remains a subject of resistance.

Le texte littéraire est cette construction artistique et culturelle qui abrite un univers merveilleux et exceptionnellement bigarré. Il s’agit d’un art impérissable qui détient sa valeur de sa référentialité et de son caractère éminemment figuratif. Dans cette recherche qui s’inscrit dans le cadre de la didactique des langues et des cultures, nous nous intéressons de la didactisation de l’écrit littéraire. Nous tâcherons principalement de l’étude de sa place dans les pratiques enseignantes au secondaire algérien et de l’identification des éventuelles contraintes entourant son exploitation en classe de langue. Pour ce faire, nous avons mené une enquête quantitative auprès des enseignants PES. Il en ressort que le statut du texte littéraire est significativement moins privilégié et que sa lecture littéraire demeure encore sujet de résistance.
