The maritime trade of goods in Algeria is particularly penalized by very high maritime transport and logistics costs. This paper examines the factors that influence these costs based on a sample of 95 import transactions. Linear modeling of the determining variables clearly shows the influence of port infrastructure, customs procedures and the structure of the maritime fleet. Le commerce maritime de marchandises en Algérie est particulièrement pénalisé par des coûts de transport et de logistique maritimes très élevés. L’article examine les facteurs qui influencent ces couts en se basant sur un échantillon de 95 opérations d’importation. La modélisation linéaire des variables déterminantes montre clairement l’influence de l’infrastructure portuaire, des procédures douanières ainsi que de la structure de la flotte maritime. |
