المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث مسألة من أهم المسائل المتعلقة بتفسير كتاب الله، فهو يتحدث عن الشروط التي يجب توفرها في المفسر، مع محاولة إبراز شرط حفظ القرآن للمفسر وذلك لكثرة إغفاله رغم أهميته وبداهة اشتراطه لدى المشتغلين بالتفسير. وقد بدأ الباحث بتحرير بعض المصطلحات التي يكثر الخلط بينها، ففرق بين المفسر وناقل التفسير، كما فرق بين شروط المفسر وأهم العلوم التي يحتاجها المفسر، كما تتبع تاريخ نشأة شروط المفسر، وكذا العلوم التي يحتاجها المفسر، مع تتبع تاريخ ظهور شرط حفظ القرآن عبر القرون وأهم القائلين به، وسبب عدم ذكره نصا عند كثير ممن تكلم عن شروط المفسر، كل ذلك مقرنا بالأدلة والشواهد مع التحليل والمناقشة، وقد توصل الباحث إلى جملة من النتائج أهمها: 1- يخلط كثير ممن كتب حول شروط المفسر بين شروط المفسر والعلوم التي يحتاجها المفسر. 2- عدم تنصيص السلف على اشتراط الحفظ للمفسر لا يعني عدم اشتراطهم ذلك. 3- شروط المفسر وضعت باجتهاد العلماء، وهي قابلة للتجديد حسب حاجة العصر. 4- يرى الباحث ترجيح القول الذي يذهب إلى اشتراط حفظ القرآن للمفسر؛ حتى نستطيع أن نضيق دائرة الأقوال المنحرفة التي ظهرت في العصر الحديث.

This research tackles one of the most crucial issues that is related to interpretation. It discusses the conditions, which must be available in the interpreter and it attempts to present the conditions of Quran memorization because they mostly are neglected in spite of their importance and it is axiomatic condition for interpretation. The researcher has started by introducing some terms in which there are much confusion, so he differentiates between the interpreter and the transmitter of interpretation. Furthermore, he presents the differences between the conditions that must be available in the interpreter and the sciences he needs. The research also pursues the history of the emergence of the conditions that must be available in the interpreter and the sciences he needs. Then he follows up the history of the appearance of Quran memorizers conditions over centuries. In addition, he presents the most prominent scholars who adopt these conditions as well as the opponents and elucidating the evidences and examples with analyzing and discussing them. The main findings that the researcher has reached are: 1. Several of scholar who wrote about the condition's interpreter confuses between the conditions of the interpreter and the sciences he needs. 2. Being not stipulated by predecessors for the Quran interpreter to be a memorizer does not mean they do not conditioned that. 3. The interpreter's conditions are established by scholar's independent reasoning, so they are renewable according to the era's needs. 4. The researcher views the weighting of the saying that the interpreter should be a memorizer due to the need of this era.
