المستخلص: المستقرئ للدور الذي قامت به الأموال الوقفية عبر التاريخ يجد أن إسهاماته في تحقيق الأمن المجتمعي لم تقتصر على جانب واحد فقط، بل شملت أوجه نشاط الحياة المختلفة سواء كانت تعبدية، أو اجتماعية، أو تعليمية، أو اقتصادية، فكان بذلك الوقف سببا من أسباب تقدم المجتمع الإسلامي ورقيه. تعددت صور الوقف في المجال الاجتماعي، وشملت العديد من جوانبه؛ إذا لم تكن كلها، فكان الوقف وسيلة لعلاج الفقر؛ إذ تم تخصيص ريع كثير من الأوقاف للصرف على الفقراء والمساكين واليتامى والعجزة. كما عمل الوقف على تأمين المواصلات البرية بين البلدان الإسلامية وجعلها ممهدة وبعيدة عن مخاطر قطاع الطرق؛ مما أسهم في ربطها ببعضها البعض وتوثيق صلاتها العلمية والثقافية والاجتماعية. كذلك ظهرت آثار الوقف العملية من خلال المجالات المتنوعة والمتعددة التي شملت جوانب الحياة الاجتماعية، فقد نهض الوقف برسالة ضخمة في إقامة المؤسسات الخيرية، ورعايتها، وبرزت أهميته بوجه خاص في توفير الرعاية الاجتماعية للطبقات الضعيفة والفقيرة ولكل محتاج على العون والرعاية كابن السبيل وطالب العلم والمريض، بل اتسع نطاقه ليشمل أوجه الحياة الاجتماعية كلها، وتكاثرت الأوقاف، وتنوعت تعبيرا عن إحساس الواقفين بأن هناك ثغرة في المجتمع لا بد أن تستر، أو معروفا مهملا يجب أن يراعى.

The introspective of the role played by endowment funds throughout history finds that its contributions to achieve societal security were not limited to one aspect only, but included various aspects of life’s activity, whether it was devotional, social, educational, or economic, and that endowment was one of the reasons for the progress and advancement of Islamic society. There are many forms of endowment in the social field, including many aspects; If not all of them, the waqf was a means of curing poverty; The proceeds of many endowments were allocated to the poor, the needy, orphans and the infirm. The endowment also worked to secure land transportation between Islamic countries and made it smooth and far from the dangers of road robbers. Which contributed to linking them together and strengthening their scientific, cultural and social links. The practical effects of the endowment also appeared through the various and multiple fields that included the aspects of social life. The endowment carried out a huge mission in establishing and nurturing charitable institutions, and its importance emerged in particular in providing social care for the weak and poor classes and for everyone in need of help and care, such as the wayfarer, the seeker of knowledge and the patient. Rather, its scope expanded to include all aspects of social life, and endowments multiplied, and varied, expressing the feel of the donors that there is a gap in society that must be covered, or a neglected favor that must be observed.

L'introspection du rôle joué par les fonds de dotation à travers l'histoire révèle que leurs contributions à la sécurité de la société ne se limitaient pas à un seul aspect, mais comprenaient divers aspects de l'activité de la vie, qu'elle soit dévotionnelle, sociale, éducative ou économique, et que la dotation était l'une des raisons du progrès et de l'avancement de la société islamique. Il existe de nombreuses formes de dotation dans le domaine social, y compris de nombreux aspects ; Si ce n'est tous, le waqf était un moyen de guérir la pauvreté ; Le produit de nombreuses dotations a été alloué aux pauvres, aux nécessiteux, aux orphelins et aux infirmes. La dotation a également oeuvré pour sécuriser le transport terrestre entre les pays islamiques et l'a rendu fluide et éloigné des dangers des voleurs de route. Ce qui a contribué à les lier entre elles et à renforcer leurs liens scientifiques, culturels et sociaux. Les effets pratiques de la dotation sont également apparus à travers les domaines divers et multiples qui comprenaient les aspects de la vie sociale. La fondation a accompli une mission énorme en créant et en alimentant des institutions caritatives, et son importance est apparue en particulier dans l'assistance sociale aux classes faibles et pauvres et à tous ceux qui ont besoin d'aide et de soins, tels que le voyageur, le chercheur de connaissances et le patient. Au contraire, sa portée s'est élargie pour inclure tous les aspects de la vie sociale, et les dotations se sont multipliées et variées, exprimant le sentiment des donateurs qu'il existe un vide dans la société qui doit être comblé, ou une faveur négligée qui doit être respectée.
