|a الاستبداد سمة تطبع الحياة السياسية العربية وتشكل نمطا محددا من العلاقات داخل المجتمع العربي، لقد وجهت للثقافة العربية الموروثة منها والمعاصرة انتقادات تحملها جزءا هاما من المسؤولية في ترسيخ الاستبداد واستمراره، جوهر النقد أن الظاهرة لا تعود إلى ممارسات الأنظمة السياسية وحدها بل يشترك فيه الموروث الثقافي الذي يجعل الفرد مهيأ لقبوله والتعايش معه مما يسهل للأنظمة أن تنهج سبيل التسلطية مادامت الثقافة العربية -رغم ما قدمته للبشرية- لم تتحرر من رواسب علقت بها من تراثها؛ ترتبط بأخلاقية السلطة وأبويتها وذهنية الطاعة والخضوع لتخلق وضعا مركبا يزيد من تعقيده خطاب ديني مراوغ أضاع وسطية الإسلام بين دين الدولة الخادم للسلطة وبين دعاة التعصب الرافضين لصيغة الدولة الوطنية، هكذا صار لزاما على الجانب الإيجابي من هذه الثقافة تصحيح ما انحرف منها.
|b Authoritarianism is a characteristic of Arab political life and constitutes a specific model of relations within society. Arab culture has been criticized for assuming an important part of the responsibility for establishing and perpetuating tyranny. With some of these values it makes the individual ready to accept and coexist with despotism, which allows regimes to easily take the path of authoritarianism as long as Arab culture- despite what it has brought to the humanity- has not been freed from the sediments attached to it from its heritage; also the religious discourse based on fanaticism and which reject the formula of the national state has in turn complicated the Arab situation, and it has thus become essential that the positive side of this culture corrects the situation.
|d L'autoritarisme est une caractéristique de la vie politique arabe et constitue un modèle spécifique des relations au sein de la société. La culture arabe a été critiquée car elle assume une part importante de la responsabilité d'établir et de perpétuer la tyrannie. Avec quelques de ces valeurs elle rend l'individu prêt à accepter et à coexister avec le despotisme, ce qui permet aux régimes de prendre facilement le chemin de l'autoritarisme tant que la culture arabe- malgré ce qu'elle a apporté à l'humanité- n'a pas été libérée des sédiments qui lui sont attachés de son héritage; aussi le discours religieux basé sur le fanatisme et qui rejettent la formule de l'État national a compliqué a son tour la situation arabe, et c'est ainsi devenu primordial que le côté positif de cette culture corrige la situation.
