|b This paper is written in the framework of recent translation studies focusing on literary translation characterized by the aesthetic and cultural dimensions. When it comes to deal with literary texts, the translator finds difficulties to perform a good translation that should reflect both the meaning of the original text and its beauty. In order to accomplish successfully his task, the translator should be aware of the literary text specificities. We have chosen “the discourse analysis approach” to sustain our study for we suppose it’s a suitable method in translating literary texts. In fact, this approach allows understanding the relationship between the different aspects of the text: structure, cohesion, coherence … Furthermore, in the following pages, we will try to show to which extent this approach is able to surrounds the cultural and the social aspects of the source-text.
|d Notre article s’inscrit dans le cadre des recherches traductologiques récentes qui s’intéressent à la traduction en général et la littéraire en particulier. Au cours de ce processus intellectuel, le traducteur se trouve face à des discours à dominance esthétique et culturelle. Afin de mener à bien sa tâche, le traducteur devrait veiller à élaborer une traduction réussie qui transmette fidèlement le vouloir dire de l’auteur en tenant compte aussi bien des aspects linguistiques qu’extralinguistiques du texte- source. Pour ce faire, nous avons jugé utile de démontrer à travers cette étude à quel point «l’approche de l’analyse du discours » serait-elle applicable et dans quelle mesure pourrait-elle cerner l’aspect culturel ainsi que la dimension sociale dans laquelle baignent les textes à traduire. A priori, cette méthode sert à analyser les textes sur les plans linguistique et social en décrivant les mécanismes par ayant permis au traducteur de comprendre un discours, en saisissant le lien logique entre tous les paramètres du texte, structure, contexte, cohérence … C’est ce que nous tenterons de confirmer ou d’infirmer tout au long des pages ci-après.
