The analysis of transport networks is one of the important topics in geographical studies, where the road network is one of the basic and important elements in Ethiopia, and the road network is classified into five types according to functional classification, namely: Trunk roads, Arterial Roads, Collector roads, local roads, and Track Roads. The railways come at the forefront of the land transport networks on which Ethiopia relies heavily in achieving its economic and social goals, as the length of the railway in Ethiopia is 2,185 km, and along this line there are cities and stations, the most important of which is the city of Mekele, which is one of the main markets and important cities in Ethiopia As well as the city of Modjo, which is one of the most important dry ports linking the capital and the rest of the cities and the railway to Djibouti. In view of the ruggedness of the surface in the State of Ethiopia, we find that all waterways in Ethiopia are characterized by their steep slope. Therefore, the river transport has limited its role to transverse transport on both sides, not longitudinal; Therefore, air transport was the lung from which Ethiopia breathes. Speaking of the air transport network, the Ethiopian Airlines is the largest airline in Africa in terms of the number of passengers from registered carriers around the world from Ethiopia 110,971 passengers in 2018; The Ethiopian Airlines is one of the largest airlines in the world in terms of the number of countries it serves, as it includes a network of 125 passenger destinations (60 international destinations- 21 of which are domestic- and 44 cargo destinations), and the number of airports in the Ethiopian state is estimated at 48 airports varying between Domestic, international and military.
