المستخلص: تقدم هذه الدراسة شرحا لأحد الاتجاهات السياسية المعاصرة المتمثلة في التعددية التصارعية عند الفيلسوفة البلجيكية "شانتال موف" التي تمثل الشكل المعياري لها، منطلقة من مسلمة أساسية تؤكد القيمة الخاصة للصراع بحد ذاته، والفيلسوف والمنظر السياسي "ويليام كونولي" الذي يقدم شكلا وصفيا للتعددية التصارعية باعتبار الصراع سمة ضرورية لجميع الأنظمة السياسية. ويرى كلاهما أن محاولات استبعاد الصراع من السياسة سيكون لها عواقب سلبية على مستقبل الديمقراطية. لذا نجدهما يوجهان سيلا من النقد لليبرالية المعاصرة خاصة في صيغتها "التداولية" ويحاولون بيان حدودها فيما يتعلق ببعض المبادئ الأساسية التي تقوم عليها "كأولوية الحق على الخير، والحياد والإجماع الليبرالي، ومذهب الفردية الليبرالية". وقد انتهت الدراسة بعدة نتائج من أبرزها: التأكيد على جوهرية الصراع كأرضية أساسية لديمقراطية نابضة بالحياة؛ في حين أن إنكاره يؤدي إلى عجز ديمقراطي، ورفض فكرة الحياد الليبرالي وما يستتبعه من ضرورة الإجماع على قواعد إجرائية معينة لمناقشة القضايا في المجال العام؛ الأمر الذي اعتبروه قمعا للتعدد والتنوع وإنزال للتعددية إلى منزلة دنيا. ومن ثم أكدوا حقيقة أن الاختلاف شيء أساسي ولابد من استيعابه.

This study presents an explanation of one of the contemporary political Directions Which represented by the Agonistic pluralism of the Belgian philosopher "Chantal Mauve", which represents the normative form of it, starting from a basic Hypothesis that emphasizes the special value of the conflict itself, and the philosopher and political theorist "William Connolly" who presents a descriptive form of the Agonistic pluralism considering Conflict is a necessary feature of all political systems. Both of Them argue that attempts to exclude conflict from politics will have negative consequences for the future of democracy. Therefore, we find them directing a torrent of criticism of contemporary liberalism, especially in its "deliberative" form, and trying to clarify its limits with regard to some of the basic principles on which it is based "such as the priority of right over good, neutrality and liberal consensus, and the doctrine of liberal individualism." The study ended with several results, the most prominent of which are: Emphasis on the essentiality of conflict as a basic ground for a vibrant democracy; While denying it leads to a democratic deficit, rejecting the idea of liberal neutrality and the consequent necessity of consensus on certain procedural rules for discussing issues in the public sphere; Which they considered as suppression of pluralism and diversity and the relegation of pluralism to a lower status. Then they emphasized the fact that the difference is fundamental and must be understood.
