In the face of the globalization we are witnessing, learning a foreign language has become a necessity, even an obligation. In this study, we will focus on highlighting the relationship between perception and emotion among learners of foreign languages, especially French. The learning process cannot take place without the involvement of emotions. The perception of the language would contribute in the precision of the nature of the emotion of the learner towards the target language. A precision which would inform, in turn, about the nature of the perception towards this language. A corpus obtained from a sample of 150 learners will be used. En face de la mondialisation dont nous sommes témoins, apprendre une langue étrangère est devenu une nécessité, voire une obligation. Dans le présent article, il sera question de souligner la relation existant entre la perception et l’émotion chez les apprenants de langues étrangères, notamment le français. Le processus d’apprentissage ne peut se dérouler sans l’implication des émotions. La perception de la langue contribuerait dans la précision de la nature de l’émotion de l’apprenant vis-à-vis de la langue cible. Une précision qui informerait, à son tour, sur la nature de la perception envers cette langue. Un corpus obtenu auprès d’un échantillon constitué par 150 apprenants, sera exploité. |
