|a تعتمد صحة الأداء المهاري وحسن الممارسة الرياضية على مقومات أساسية من أبرزها توفر بعض القياسات الجسمية (الانثروبومتوية)، وعناصر اللياقة البدنية، ولتعلم رياضة الجمباز والتمرينات، هناك متطلبات بدنية ومهارية يجب توفرها في كل لاعب بمارس هذا النوع من الرياضة. وتجمع نتائج الدراسات والبحوث وتتفق آراء الخبراء والمتخصصين في أن لاعبي الرياضات المختلفة يتميزون بخصائص جسمية وصفات بدنية تميزهم عن غيرهم من الممارسين للنشاط الرياضي بأن التميز قائم بين لاعبي الأنشطة الرياضية أنفسهم وفقا لنوع طبيعة الرياضة والنشاط.
