|a تبحث هذه الورقة في أزمة مجانية التعليم في مصر، في ظل المؤشرات المتزايدة على سعي بعض المسئولين في الدولة للتهرب من هذا الالتزام الدستوري. وقام البحث على دراسة على منهج تاريخي تأصيلي لبحث واقع النظام التعليمي في مصر منذ العصر الفرعوني مرورا بالعصر الإسلامي وصولا إلى العصر الحديث، وذلك سعيا لبحث نطاق تطبيق مجانية التعليم في مختلف العصور. ثم استعرضت الدراسة تطور النصوص الدستورية المؤكدة على مبدأ مجانية التعليم والصراع الدائر ما بين تياري دعم ومناهضة هذا المبدأ منذ الاحتلال الإنجليزي لمصر وحتى اليوم.
|b This paper examines free education in Egypt, in view of increased indications that some officials are seeking to evade this constitutional obligation. The methodology of the research is based on historical approach to discuss the core of the educational system in Egypt from the Pharaonic era through the Islamic era to the modern age. The study then reviewed the evolution of the constitutional articles which assured the principle of free education and the ongoing conflict between the two trends, of supporting and opposing this principle since the English occupation of Egypt till today.
