|a تناول البحث أهمية تطوير نظام التعليم في المدارس القرآنية التقليدية في مجتمع شمال نيجيريا المعاصر، واقترح سبل علاج المشكلات المحيطة بنظام التعليم فيها من الغلو والإفراط في تأديب الطلاب، وذلك جعلت الحكومة تنتقد نظام التعليم التقليدي في الوقت الحاضر، وبين الباحثون أثر المدارس على المجتمع النيجيري في تثبيت حب القرآن في نفوس الطلاب وغرس الأخلاق الفاضلة ومحاربة الرذيلة، وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي في البيان عن تاريخ نشأة المدارس التقليدية في شمال نيجيريا، والمنهج الوصفي الاستقرائي بتتبع الأساليب والنظم التي تعتمد عليها في تدريس القرآن الكريم. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أنه لابد من العناية بالمؤسسات التعليمية الإسلامية الأصلية مع تنظيمها تنظيما محكما؛ لأن التاريخ أثبت أن المدارس القرآنية التقليدية هي أساس نظام التعليم وغرس الأخلاق الحميدة والعقيدة الصحيحة في مجتمع شمال نيجيريا قبل الاحتلال الأوربي. وتمثل إدارة المدارس التقليدية بين المعلم الكبير ومساعديه من طلابه الكبار فقط، ولا يحدد النظام سنا محددا يلتحق فيه بتعلم القرآن أو الانتهاء من التعلم، وذلك جعل الطلاب يمكثون فترة طويلة من الزمن في هذه المدارس، وذلك مما يؤدي إلى ضعف تفاعل الطالب في التعلم، وليس هناك راتب محدد يحصل عليه المعلم وإنما يعتمد على التبرع والإحسان من أصحاب الفضل في المجتمع، وتبين أن الإفراط في التأديب ساعد في تعرقل مسيرة نظام التعليم التقليدي في مجتمع شمال نيجيريا المعاصر.
|b This article aims to examine the importance of developing the educational system in the traditional Qur’anic Schools in contemporary Northern Nigeria. It suggests ways of solving problems surrounding the educational system, including the exaggeration and excessive students’ discipline. This made the government criticize the traditional educational system at the present time. The researchers explained the impact of these traditional schools on Nigerian society in instilling the love of the Holy Qur’an in the hearts of students and instilling virtuous morals and fighting evil and immorality. The study employs the historical approach in explaining the history of the emergence of traditional schools in Northern Nigeria, and the inductive approach by tracing its methods and systems on which it depends in the teaching of the Holy Qur’an. The study concludes that it is necessary to maintain and sustain the original system of Islamic educational institutions with its modifications by the authorities. This is because history has proven that the traditional Qur'anic Schools are the basis of the educational system and the inculcation of good morals and true beliefs in Northern Nigerian societies before the advent of European Colonization. The administration of traditional schools lies between the Head teacher and his elder student assistants. The system does not specify a specific age at which the student enrolls or graduates, and this is what makes the students stay for a long period of time in these schools. This weakens the student's activity in education, and there is no specific salary that the teacher receives, but rather it depends on the donation and charity from charitable people in the community. It was also found that excessive discipline mounted on the students hinder the progress of the traditional educational system in the contemporary northern Nigerian society.
