In this research, we aimed to discuss the unification of intellectual property protection laws in United Arab Emirates (UAE). We analyzed what has been established regarding the Emirati laws that address most of intellectual property rights, and what professionals actually hope to be existed. There is an unquestionable desire among those who are interested in the intellectual property rights to collect these laws within a single legislative act that would serve as a unified code for the protection of intellectual property rights. We have achieved the following results; there are some rights that has not been addressed by Emirati laws for intellectual property protection, such as; planning designs for integrated circuits, undisclosed information, and geographical indications. Since there are some deficiencies in the Emirati laws, we recommended to address these deficiencies, regulate these rights and combine all laws related to intellectual property rights within a single legislative code, which would serve as a unified code for the protection of intellectual property rights. We also recommended to allocate specific departments to handle all intellectual property disputes, just like the circuits that are concerned in the trade issues.
