المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى دراسة المثال الأصولي دراسة تحليلية؛ تعتمد على جمع قدر كبير من النماذج والأنواع تجلية لحقيقته وأنواعه في الدرس الأصولي. وذلك أن علم أصول الفقه من الفنون التي جمعت بين المنقول والمعقول، فكان طريقا إلى تربية الملكة الأصولية والفقهية لدى الطلاب والدارسين. إلا أنه علم صعب المرام وأبي، لا على من انتهج في دراسته سيرة الأئمة فيه، واقتفى أثرهم في فهم قواعده ومسائله ومصطلحاته، وأهتم بكل واحدة منها. ولذلك حرص العلماء على بث الأمثلة الكاشفة عن غوامضه، والموضحة لمسائله. ولما كان المثال الأصولي بهذه المنزلة في الدرس الأصولي كان لا بد من وضع دراسة بحثية حوله، تأتي على ماهيته، وأنواعه، والتفصيل في ذلك، مع التمثيل لكل نوع وما يندرج تحته من أشكال، وبيان الفرق بينه وبين الشاهد، ما يجتمعان فيه. وقد اشتمل البحث كذلك على مزايا المثال الأصولي وعيوبه في استعمالات الأصوليين، مع الإشارة إلى الجوانب المشرقة فيما يمكن أن يعد من العيوب؛ إذ إن المثال في حقيقته طريق لتوضيح القواعد الأصولية، فما كان عيبا ربما صار كذلك بتعسف الأصوليين في استعماله لا في نفس الأمر. وختم البحث بذكر وظائف المثال الأصولي الثلاثة مع التأكيد على أن له وظيفة أساسية ألا وهي: توضح المسائل وتسهيلها وتقريبها إلى أفهام الدارسين.

The research is an analytical study about the examples used in "Fundamentals of Islamic jurisprudence" books; It depends on collecting a large number of models and types as a manifestation of its reality and types in the fundamentalist lesson. This is because the science of the principles of jurisprudence studies religious text with linguistic and logical tools, making it a roadmap to build jurisprudential skills. According to that this science acquired its prestigious position in the hierarchy of islamic sciences, demanding an innovative approach to clarify ambiguities about its terms, rules, and principles by introducing appropriate and accurate examples. And since the fundamentalist example is in this position in the fundamentalist lesson, it was necessary to introduce a research study about it, which deals with its nature, types, and detail in that, with representation of each type and the forms that fall under it, and a statement of the difference between it and the witness, and what is in common. The research also included the advantages and disadvantages of using examples, with reference to the bright aspects of what could be considered defects; As the example is in fact a way to clarify the rules of the principles of jurisprudence, so what was a defect may have become so because of the arbitrariness of some scholars. The research ended by mentioning the three functions of the fundamentalist example, emphasizing on its basic function: clarifying, facilitating, and simplifying issues.
