المستخلص: يعد الرحالة السعودي محمد بن ناصر العبودي من أبرز الرحالين في الزمن المعاصر، ولم يبلغ أحد من الرحالين ما بلغ. على حد علم الباحث. من حيث إثرا المكتبة العربية بمصنفاته التي بلغت (١٤١) كتابا مطبوعا في أدب الرحلة، و (٣٦) مخطوطا في هذا الفن، وقد رأى الباحث أن السمة الأسلوبية الأبرز في سرده ذلك الاستطراد البديع الذي أصبح ظاهرة عنده تستحق الدراسة والعناية، ولكثرة مصنفات العبودي؛ فقد اخترت كتاب "من روسيا البيضاء إلى روسيا الحمراء" أنموذجا، ووسمت هذه الدراسة بعنوان: الاستطراد السردي عند الرحالة السعودي محمد بن ناصر العبودي كتاب من روسيا البيضاء إلى روسيا الحمراء أنموذجا. وتناولت الدراسة دوافع الاستطراد السردي عند العبودي، وأنواع الاستطراد السردي، والاستطراد بين الواقعية والتخييلية، ثم خاتمة شملت نتائج البحث، وكان من أهم تلك النتائج مجيء استطرادات العبودي من حيث الشكل على نوعين؛ أحدهما: الاسترجاع الفني أو ما يسمى الارتداد، والآخر الخروج أو الانتقال، كما جاءت استرجاعاته الفنية على نوعين: واقعي تسجيلي، وتخييلي ذاتي، وقد أعطى الاستطراد التخييلي عند العبودي أدب الرحلة مسحة فنية أعلت من شأن الجانب الذاتي في السرد، ومنحته قيمة أدبية، وظهر في استطرادات العبودي لطافة وظرافة من أسبابها المراس والدربة التي أكتسبها بسبب كثرة مصنفاته. ثم ختم البحث بثبت المصادر والمراجع.

The popular Saudi traveler, Muhammad bin Nasser Al- Aboudi, is considered one of the most prominent travelers in contemporary times. In the researcher’s opinion, none of the travelers reached what he reached in terms of enriching the Arabic library with his works, which amounted to (141) printed books in travel literature, and (36) manuscripts in this art. The researcher opined that the most prominent stylistic feature in his narration is the wonderful elaborateness, which has become an apparent phenomenon in his works and it deserves being studied. And because of the large number of Al- ‘Aboudi’s works, the researcher chose the book "From Belarus to Red Russia" as case study, and the study was titled: Narrative Elaborateness of the Popular Saudi Traveler Muhammad Bin Nasser Al-Aboudi; The Book of "From Belarus to Red Russia" As Case Study. The study discussed the motives behind Al Aboudi’s narrative digression, and the types of narrative digression, and digression between realism and imaginary, then a conclusion which consists the findings of the research. One of the most important of these findings was that Al-Aboudi's digressions in terms of form came in two types; One is technical retrieval or regression, and the other is exit or transition. His artistic recalls were of two types: realistic documentary, and self-imaginative. Al-Aboudi's imaginative digression gave the travel literature an artistic feature that elevated the subjective aspect of the narration, and gave it a literary value. In Al-Aboudi's digressions, a kindness and humility surfaced due to the expertise and the experience he had acquired due to the large number of his works. Then the research was concluded by confirming the sources and references.
