المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على الكفايات اللازمة لعملية اتخاذ القرارات الإدارية لدى عمداء الكليات من وجهة نظر عمداء الكليات بجامعة شقراء، وذلك من خلال التعرف على الكفايات المعرفية، والكفايات الوجدانية، والكفايات الأدائية اللازمة لعملية اتخاذ القرارات الإدارية من وجهة نظر عمداء الكليات بجامعة شقراء. كما هدفت كذلك إلى التعرف على الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية في آراء أفراد الدراسة حول الكفايات اللازمة لعملية اتخاذ القرارات الإدارية التي تعزى لمتغيرات: الجنس، نوع الكلية، التخصص، الدرجة العلمية، الخبرة في مجال العمل الحالي، التدريب في مجال الكفايات الإدارية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي بمدخليه المسحي والتحليلي باعتباره أنسب المناهج البحثية لموضوع وأهداف الدراسة الحالية، كما استخدمت الاستبانة أداة لجمع المعلومات والبيانات من مجتمع الدراسة. وقد أسفرت الدراسة عن مجموعة من النتائج، أبرزها: موافقة أفراد الدراسة بشدة على الكفايات المعرفية اللازمة لعملية اتخاذ القرارات الإدارية لعمداء الكليات. وفي وضوء النتائج التي أسفرت عنها الدراسة قدمت الباحثة مجموعة من التوصيات من بينها: الاهتمام بتوافر الكفايات الإدارية وخصوصا كفايات عملية اتخاذ القرارات عند ترشيح واختيار عمداء الكليات.

This study aimed to identify the competencies necessary for the administrative decision-making process for the deans of the faculties from the point of view of the deans of the faculties at the University of Shaqra, by identifying the cognitive competencies, the emotional competencies, and the performance competencies necessary for the administrative decision-making process from the point of view of the deans of the colleges at the University of Shaqra. It also aimed to identify the statistically significant differences in the opinions of the study members about the competencies necessary for the administrative decision-making process that are attributed to the variables: gender, type of college, specialization, academic degree, experience in the current work field, training in the field of administrative competencies. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, with its survey and analytical approaches, as the most appropriate research method for the subject and objectives of the current study, and the questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting information and data from the study community. The study resulted in a set of results, most notably: The study members strongly agreed on the cognitive competencies necessary for the administrative decision-making process for the deans of colleges. In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, including: Paying attention to the availability of administrative competencies, especially the competencies of the decision-making process when nominating and selecting deans of colleges.
