|a اتجه علماء الأثار مؤخرا إلى العلم الحديث ليساعدهم ويسهل عملهم ويوفر جهدهم ووقتهم ومالهم، وقد حدث هذا الاتجاه منذ القرن الماضي عندما وجه العلم بحوثه ودراساته إلى أمور غير محسوسة ولا سيما الأشعة السينية والكونية والموجات الكهرومغناطيسية وغيرها من تقنيات وذلك في محاولة مستمرة للاستفادة العملية والتطبيقية منها. وفي بحثنا هذا سنتطرق لبعض من هذه التقنيات كالتصوير الجوي والاستشعار عن بعد، ومؤخرا تقنية المسح الجيوفيزيائي والتي تم اعتمادها في بعض المواقع الأثرية السورية التي تعود لفترات زمنية مختلفة.
|b Archeologists have recently tumed towards modern science to help them and to save their effort and time. This tendency has been occurred since the last century at which time science had directed its research and studies at intangible subjects especially X-rays, cosmic rays, electromagnetic waves and other techniques, in a continuous attempt to get used of them scientifically and in practice. In this research we will shed light on some of these techniques, such as aerial photography, remote sensing, and lately the geophysical survey technology which has been applied in some Syrian archeological sites dating back to different periods.
