|a هدفت الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أحد أبرز النظم الإدارية المعاصرة في إدارة الجامعات، وهو حوكمة الجامعات. وتضمنت الدراسة محاور رئيسة في الحوكمة عامة وحوكمة الجامعات خاصة. لأغراض بناء إطار مفاهيمي شامل يجسر الانتقال بين النظرية والتطبيق، للخروج بإطار تطبيقي لحوكمة الجامعات والأطراف الرئيسة الفاعلة فيه، ومنح المعنيين رؤية واضحة لفهم منهجية وديناميكية العمل به. اعتمدت الدراسة منهج تحليل المضمون ونظرية النظم. واشتملت عينة الدراسة على المصادر والمؤلفات العلمية، والأدبيات والدراسات المتخصصة السابقة، والوثائق والتقارير والتجارب الدولية، ذات الصلة. توصلت الدراسة للإطار التطبيقي لحوكمة الجامعات، واستنتجت أن حوكمة الجامعات هدف منشود في كثير من الجامعات العربية، وهي نقطة بداية؛ للمشاركة في مسار ضمن اتجاه استراتيجي برؤية مستقبلية، تستلزم إعادة النظر في الأنماط والأساليب الإدارية لدعم تطبيقها. وأوصت الدراسة بتبني مبادئ حوكمة الجامعات بمشاركة الجميع، كونها تمنح المعنيين أداة لقياس كيف تدار الجامعات، واقترحت دراسات مستقبلية.
|b The study aimed to shading the light on one of the most prominent contemporary administrative systems in the university administration, which is university governance. The study included major axes of the governance in general and the governance of universities in particular. The purposes were to building a comprehensive conceptual framework that bridges the transition between theory and practice, coming out with an applied framework for university governance, and the main actors in it, and giving the stakeholders a clear vision to understand the methodology and dynamics of working with it. The study adopted the approach of content analysis and systems theory. The study sample included scientific sources and literature, and previous specialized studies, and relevant international documents, reports and experiences. The study reached to the applied framework for university governance, and concluded that university governance is a desirable goal in many Arab universities, and it is a starting point for participating in a path within a strategic direction with a future vision, which requires reconsideration of administrative patterns and methods to support its application. The study recommended to adopting the principles of university governance with the participation of all, as it gives stakeholders a tool to measure how universities are managed, and suggested future studies.
