المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى إعداد برنامج قائم على نظرية العقول الخمسة، والتعرف على فاعليته في تنمية الحس التاريخي وبعض قيم التسامح لدي تلاميذ الصف الثاني الإعدادي، ولتحقيق ذلك تم إعداد قائمة بقيم التسامح، ‏كما تم إعداد اختبار الحس التاريخي ومقياس لقيم قيم التسامح. استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والمنهج التجريبي، وقدم البحث برنامجا قائما على نظرية العقول الخمسة، متضمنا الأسس والأهداف والمحتوي وطرق التدريس والوسائل والأنشطة التعليمية وأساليب التقويم، وتكونت عينة البحث من (72‎) تلميذ من تلاميذ الصف الثاني الإعدادي بالعام الدراسي 2021/2022م‏ تم تقسيمها إلى مجموعتين، مجموعة تجريبية تكونت من (36) تلميذ ودرست البرنامج القائم على نظرية العقول الخمسة، ومجموعة ضابطة وتكونت من (36)‏ تلميذ ودرست بالطريقة المعتادة. وقد أوضحت نتائج البحث وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.05‎) بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار الحس التاريخي ومقياس قيم التسامح لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود حجم تأثير كبير لاستخدام البرنامج وتنمية الحس التاريخي وقيم التسامح لدى تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية، وقدم البحث مجموعة من التوصيات من أهمها: ضرورة التوسع في استخدام العقول الخمسة في برامج إعداد المعلم وإدراجها في كتاب دليل المعلم لمادة الدراسات الاجتماعية في المرحلة الإعدادية.

The aim of the research is to prepare a program based on the five minds theory, and to identify its effectiveness in developing sense of history and some tolerance values among students of the second year of middle school. To achieve this, a list of the values of tolerance necessary was prepared, and a test of historical sense and a scale for the values of tolerance values were prepared. The research used the descriptive analytical method and the experimental method. The research presented a program in teaching social studies based on the theory of the five minds, including the foundations, objectives, content, teaching methods, educational aids, activities and evaluation methods. The research sample consisted of (72) students of the second year of middle school in the academic year 2021/2022 AD. It was divided into two groups, an experimental group consisted of (36) students and studied the program based on the theory of the five minds, and a control group consisted of (36) students and studied in the usual way. Results of the research showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post application of the historical sense test and the measures of tolerance values in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed a large effect size for using the program based on the theory of the five minds and developing a sense of history and the values of tolerance among the students of the experimental group. The research ended with presenting a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: the need to expand the use of the five minds in teacher preparation programs and the need to include them in the teacher’s guide book for social studies in the preparatory stage.
