المستخلص: The importance of the current research comes in shedding light on the communication techniques in the counseling interview through verbal and non-verbal practices for their importance in the counseling process; the current research aims to identify some of the techniques of communication in the instructive interview. Among the most important conclusions reached: The use of communication techniques, both verbal and non-verbal appropriately, by the educational counselor in the school, acquires great importance during the counseling interview. There is also a need to pursue the scientific and technical qualification of mentors who are preparing to practice the profession of counseling, as well as mentors who actually practice the profession.
